I believe that this nation called Nigeria will be one of the best places to visit in the very near future. This project called Nigeria is real and I thank God for making me to be alive at such a time that will soon become my grandchildren's grimace... Nigeria will never ever break up and I believe that you and I will enjoy this nation. Nigeria's children will fly back to take their rightful places.... The land will definitely be greener O'er here!!!! Feeling superexcited ... |

Why are Nigerians back home always eager to convince diasporians to come back home? If you take Robert Langer, the most productive researcher/professor at MIT and put him in Unilag, he'll get nothing done. Nothing gets done in Nigeria. |

Come on! Nigeria is not that bad, the fulani herdsmen won't kill your wife when they attack your family in your hometown, they will only rape your wife. But they will kill you the husband with their rusty ak47s or they could just slice you up like suya meat. See! I told you zoogeria is not that bad. |

One funny thing about all this poeple shouting about staying in nigeria is either they be denied a visa or they don't hv opportunity to get one. Give them visa to go to one ghetto in america, they ll gladly take it. Nigeria isn't a place to be.if not for mie,for my unborn 4kids |

Nigeriadondie:Nna, you should write a book o! You're damn good with facts and truths!!!! But, the one thing you forgot to note down is that, Nigerians, despite the level of the greedy leaders and their yearns for an unending embezzlement, we still have hope. If you look around you, lately the masses are beginning to see the truth and take a stand one way or the other. I know one thing for sure that someday, somehow, the norm of greedy leadership that has been thriving for years, will surely be reduced and possibly eradicated. God will surely not let his creation suffer this long. Things will change soon. God bless Nigeria. Nice write-up though. |

Nigeriadondie:Brilliant my brother, brilliant! I also think that the major impediment to our growth as a nation is the system of government we run which has encouraged nepotism, favoritism, massive corruption and lazy attitude towards governance in the country... We also suffer from the Dutch syndrome as oil has been a major curse to Nigeria rather than a blessing... In conclusion, we need a revolution. Most of those working countries had to have one form of revolution or the other before things began to work as the masses wanted. Once again, very brilliant write-up, I could feel your emotions... |

Nigeriadondie:I no read am finish, but you make sense die! To think that we actually have enough funds to make Nigeria a better place is just sickening |

blessingee:Yes I can authoritatively tell u that Nigeria is truly blessed far blessed than many rich countries that rather than them shamefully giving us loans, grants or aids we should be the one. I ve been to 15 countries and I ask myself why are we poor? Why should I be ashamed to identify myself as a Nigerian? I ve written to d state govt of my state of origin how things should be and I am willing to share the ideas at d Federal level on how to completely get things right but I saw I was wasting my time. Our leaders are worse than Devil and deserve a place hotter than hell. I even feel pained d more when I see even some useless Nigerians who are victims of bad rulership defending these thieves in power. U can see my name "NIGERIADONDIE". It is not for nothing. |

kinglee007:What u cant change u endure. That hope for me is like a stimulant to keep u going but hope is not enough. The masses keep hoping while d leaders keep looting. Hope and faith without action wud never bring a change. A student who keeps hoping to pass but not makng effort to study wud never excel. U can see my name. It is not for nothing "NIGERIADONDIE" |

I live in south africa. Yes south africa which is also in africa but anytime i visit nigeria i always get angry at the state my country is in. I have changed my ticket many times just so that i could go back to south africa earlier than i planned. Nigeria is a shithole. Honestly. |

Nigeriadondie:Its just sad how we celebrate mediocrity in this part of the world. I really cannot say if Nigeria can ever get better...Look at our Senators, Honourables, Ministers, Judiciary etc bunch of brainless opportunist! |

You be spoken well bro and I can't help but to agree with ur assertions Buh my own concern is dis; Most of the problems u pointed out are things most of us be been living with ever since we were born in fact my grandma also has her own story to tell about Nigeria's problem. My point rather Dan highlighting d problems ch bleeds our heart each time we re being reminded, I think way forward is what we re meant to b discussing now. How to tackle dose challenges facing us . myself used to think all we needed was bringing youths on board, Buh Yaya Bello of Kogi State is an example DAT shows DAT our problems goes beyond clamouring 4 youths taking ova the helms of affairs of d Nation. What is d way out of dis decay? Nigeriadondie: |
