Does anyone using forextime naira ? Apart from that shina guy? I want to test it for a few bucks. May be starting with their live cent account. Does it have all the instruments ( may be I will download demo). And what about their withdrawal (any charges)? .I never traded with any Nigerian broker, not anyone. But I just like to play with them but I don't want any stories that touches.

I use their standard naira account. The charge on withdrawal is very minimal - VAT on withdrawal.

Holding from yesterday, recon some will take me out @ Breakeven.
I'm going to have to sit on my hands now " saving my ammunition ", as I'm not seeing high probability entry (I rather take A+, B+ entry and lose the trade , than enter a C- trade and win... Building bad habits.)

All trades stopped out @ Breakeven...

Was in GU too early, should have waited to see some wicks on the hourly chart before entering.
Took some trades off, to replenish the account. I'll leave the rest as free trades.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by redsox11: 3:41pm On Jul 11, 2017
The thing is, I take hit (SL) every now and then as it's part of the business , but my entry are usually tight. If I successfully deploy my entry, I usually can have something of 1:5 to 1:10 ( R:R )

SL not more than 10pips above or below hourly chart, usually.

Ps: GCAD- Hourly and 15mins chart.

Pps: I usually just trade what I see and try not to be married to my trades, so I move with with the flow.
If I'm wrong, I take a small loss and move on to the next.

Very cool and simple , no need to complicate it.

Lesson to everyone based on my previous basket call.
See stoploss as a price magnet, imagine that price detects your SL and fetches for it. Meaning price direction often goes your predicted direction but may first fetch for your SL in the opposite direction to take it off and then continues in your predetermined direction.
This lesson teaches you to loosen up your SL and use a good risk/money management. For example, I sometimes have a SL of 200pips on D1, yours could be 100 on H4 or lower. PS: Please note that this information is not valid for scalpers.

I will upload pix when I go on computer

Holding... Thinking of taking one off before any major retrace.
KISS (Keep it Simple, Stupid) , when I'm over thinking things.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by Nobody: 7:36pm On Jul 11, 2017
This I meant.

Just before the close of today, I will enter sell again and ride it like I initially expected. Meanwhile, the other three pairs are doing very great; they helped replenished the lost pips on GNZD and with some extra pips.

If it regularly nip your SL and go to the intended direction.
Just a suggestion, why not put another entry right at your SL area with a very tight stop (extra 10-15pips.. would make for great R:R).

Just a suggestion as you'll have a better idea than I do.
Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by Nobody: 9:12pm On Jul 11, 2017
Good idea but the idea is that my SL rarely gets it may be about 1/10 and this is due to the lesson I posted up there.

When SL is hit, I relax for the pair and wait for the radical candle to close, check again if its close value validates another entry signal, enter again and set another stop loss but now at a different SL based on the high or low of the radical candle. If you enter again just immediately after your SL is taken, who knows if it may continue in that opposite direction, this is why the best bet is just to chill for the candle to completely settle by its closure, then check again.

Cheers

"SL rarely gets it may be about 1/10" That's definitely far from anything close to regular. You're right about not re-entering and waiting for market to settle.

I made a rough, very rough estimation (may be), but it is true that SL rarely gets hit. I close a trade when a reversal occurs which doesn't necessarily have to occur after a SL is hit,

Hope you grab, not complicated

Re: Forex Trade Alerts Season 17 by Nobody: 10:03pm On Jul 11, 2017
I just added EURCAD.
I did not re-enter the GNZD because my broker moved SL to 28.0 pips and moreover, price remained steady at the present point which I do not like.

GBPAUD has finally broken the ascending channel heading downwards as anticipated.
If you failed to sell the breakout dont worry, just relax and watch price to go into correction
as indicated on the chart and sell the breakout of the correction.

I understand you perfectly . Was actually complimenting you and not being cynical really. You've been very consistent and that's say a lot.
I actually love the freedom that large SL gives you as you can not always be on the computer.

That's a lot, spread. For the life of me, I could never trade GNZD profitably. I envy you.

I love your trendlines. Especially when I'm confused, I just go to 4hrs and draw a damn trendline to help with perspective.
