Please someone should help me give direction on how to successfully change imei on my Lenovo P1mini .I have been trying different ways yet no solution.I have used mtk engineer mode but no positive result.After changing and and sending it will tell me 'At command sent' when I off and on the phone there will be no reflection of the new imei,rather I will still see the original imei.I have tried to rewrite imei using laptop,it still does not reflect.Remember! The phone is not rooted.but I want to know if I root it, is there 100%guarantee that I can successfully change the imei and it will reflect using mtk engineer mode? Please I want to be sure.
