Combine prettyboey strategy, use support and resistance/ trend lines and follow trend on larger timeframe, i.e take breakouts in the direction of the trend and trade without fear.

You're right though, FX is not really about seeing a b c and going buy or sell right away. New comers will need a lot of screen time and if lucky, have a profitable mentor to walk them through it / spoon feed them.

Firstly, we are all greedy one way or the other, if not why FX?

Secondly, being on your toe makes you fall easily when compared with someone on his feet . I trade on my feet when I use small lot and build with it.

Thirdly, your utmost goal should be - Account sustainability or longevity.

If I may, how do you handle your greed? If my entry is too low risk (very small lot size ), it just don't feels right. I like being on my toes, so I'm somewhat greedy, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Oh, lest I forget, GAUD currently yielding 210.0pips but still on the road to about 400.0. Likewise EA, GJ and GN all doing fine bringing the total basket pips up to 305.0 pips.

That's a lot of pips right there. You should leave some pips on the table for the rest of us

Take a 100 pips SL and a 300 pips TP system for example,
Out of ten trades with a 30% win/loss ration the trader still ends up in profits

three 300 pips gains plus 900
seven 100 pips loses = minus 700

You might have to broaden your analysis with regards to probable profits and loses. Cheers

Good day everyone and all the gurus in the house. Please I want to know if we have whatsapp group for this great forex forum platform and if there is non please let's create a whatsapp group. This forum has become dull overtime because people don't have time to come and read most post here. It is easier when you get whatsapp alert on your phone and you quickly go through it and do your input. People also have so many things to contribute but they are limited because of this forum. This nairaland platform has been a great avenue in the past but not anymore. So we need to change to whatsapp for better achievement. The only thing that is permanent in life is CHANGE.

How do you react when your trades are going against you even at your very best entry strategy?
Don't freak out, this happens to even the best traders in the world; this is normal, in fact: In this business, you first record loses to make profits (think about the almighty compulsory spread fee)

Like in the attached picture, out of 6 pairs in basket, only GU is going against my predetermined direction despite that I entered at my best entry signal. Now, this is what I have done to it, I went to a lower TF, placed my Fib on it and it is clear to me that something good may still come out of it, hence I will leave this GU until either tmao or SL taken
