A Nigerian Twitter user, @ Ogbenidipo, has taken to the platform to rant after his younger sister who is a Masters Degree holder, was offered a job that pays N35k monthly.

According to him, Nigeria perpetuates injustice against its youth population. Here are his tweets;

It's unfortunate though, but that is the reality in our country. At times I feel education in Nigeria is overrated, because after all the stress and time wasted in school, one will still need to struggle to get a good paying job after graduation.
35k for an M.Sc degree holder is nothing but wickedness. However, the person can still take up the offer for experience sake while looking for better offers.

THAT WHY I SAID TO MYSELF AFTER I DROPPED MY PEN THAT NIGERIA IS NO MORE FUNNY TO GO AND RUN A MSC PROGRAMME AGAIN. MY HARD EARNED B.SC IS OK, MY UNBORN CHILDREN WILL GO AND STUDY OTHER HIGHER DEGREE WHEN THEY GROW UP.

I was perplexed when i saw his post SMH

Things like this could happen if she's gotten no experience. Sometimes some people (mostly rich people's children) dont take the experience aspect serious because there's enough money to train from pre-nursery through primary up to masters level non-stop, forgetting that theories and practicals have wide gap.

For someone that even travelled out of the country to acquire education, it shows she's got more ego not to have engaged in vacation jobs (even if not for the monetary aspect) but to garner experience over there. Now she has come back to pay (make sacrifice) for the experience first before she will now land the real job. Let her pay the price now so she can gain it in future and let the brother stop making a mountain out of a molehill.

Some pple loose their heads once they are out of the shore of this country all in the name of whatever its called. I said this because vacation and holiday job opportunities are available to students studying abroad but ego (or maybe ignorance) will not allow them to embrace the opportunity.

I knew of someone like that too that came back to render free service in a coy just to gain experience. Also, I heard of an engineering graduate who had to enroll for apprehentiship job with a well versed mechanic just to gain experience, he's really an asset now in his company and earning fat figures.
