Love your neighbour like yourself. That's all the Gospel you need to read.

Your advise please

First I'd advise you to get a Bible in the translation you are very much comfortable using. Such as ERV, MSG, NIV, ESV and so on. I found that it's pretty challenging reading King James Version, especially when one is not fully grounded in the word. Also if its a Bible with Commentary, it will be great as well. I have an NIV Commentary Bible, and it's Powerful.

Secondly, get a study plan. There are lots of them available now. One of the Apps I use is this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sirma.mobile.bible.android It's so beautiful! It has a lot of plans. Some short plans, some long for a year. It depends. I'll advise you start with the shorter ones, like 3 days, 5 days and so on.
There are plans for different topics: Grace, Love, Mercy, Healing, Faith, Family, Living a life of Holiness, Prosperity, Name them all. You can also use the search tabs, to search for exact topics in the Bible, and it will narrow it down for you.

Thirdly, don't study alone all the time. Try to get a Live group/Bible study group. This will always help. You get to discuss the scriptures, learn and grow.

Lastly, don't feel discouraged if you miss a day in this journey. Keep Moving. Consistency is key. Don't give up.

PS: There is a thread on Nairaland, on the Religion section. There are people who post scriptures and messages every day, you may also wanna check there. https://www.nairaland.com/1114515/christian-chatbox-sticky

I trust the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ to see you through!

the

And

"No Bible No Breakfast. No Scripture No Supper. No Prayer, No Pleasure"
