Every child at 10 years and above is expected to help his or her parents I'm their farm as he learns along the line. An igbo child that has completed his mandatary scheme as listed above is expected to go back to school (higher institution) and with years experience she has in the farm he or she shall be given exception to 200 level if he or she wishes to study Agric and agrix related courses. Every student who complete secondary school education shall be given congratulatory stipend that worth 6 months salary of a degree holders after they have registered for the scheme under their govt. Any student who does not participate in the scheme for any reason must not receive congtatolatory stipend. Any student that want the stipend should: Clock 15 year or complete secondary education and register for the agriculture scheme. Government is expected to provide all the tool including land for food crops. The agricultural land should be devided into 20 actre each and create good roads in between the acres. Water supply, power supply, faterlizer and laborers, land... All of these must be provided by the government. Parents are expected to put their children through the training starting from age 10 to 15 or till immediately they graduate from high school and save at least 12% of every harvest for the child until she graduates from higher institution. Parents- lawyers, doctors, engineers etc it does not matter family must have farm. Sartuday and or Friday would be farm day all offices must close as all family must be in their ways to farm. Government provides amenities as stated above and collects bills from the family for consumption of the amenities. Each family provides fertilizer for his farm while government provides it for the high school graduate. And the family pays tax also. |

Looking at their soil texture, I can boldy say igbo can't really go far in all-round agriculture. That is the major reason why maize and cassava has been their major produce. |
