Save the honey bees.

OP, I really enjoyed reading your well researched write-up and I agree with you 100%.
But, I personally don't have problem with the bees because even before this write up, everyone knows we get honey from bees and honey is very important. This is in addition to the fact that they always mind their business unless disturbed by man.

Op, my problem is snakes, I really want to know what exactly will also disappear if those deadly creatures are out of existence.

We can’t predict what will happen when a predator is lost from an ecosystem; there are too many unknown ways that species interact and the processes take place over scales of tens to thousands of square kilometers. The true effect of a loss can’t be known until years or decades after it has taken place.

Snakes make up a significant proportion of the middle-order predators that keep our natural ecosystems working. Without them the numbers of prey species would increase to unnatural levels and the predators that eat snakes struggle to find food.

A lot of people do not understand or acknowledge a snake’s role in the environment. Some people believe they are here to harm us, others have not a clue as to why snakes even exist.

So, why are snakes here then?

The feeding habits of snakes act as a natural form of pest control.

Snakes are predators and feed on a variety of creatures. Small snakes feed on many harmful bugs and insects. Larger ones eat mice, rats, and other small mammals that can destroy crops or damage personal property.
Snakes tend to control rodent populations in particular.
Without snakes, we would be completely overrun by these nuisance rodents.

Snakes as Prey
They serve as a food source for larger predators such as hawks, owls, herons, and carnivorous mammals such as bobcats. Some snakes consume other snakes if given the opportunity. Immune to the poisonous venom, king snakes will readily make a meal of a rattlesnake that they might encounter.
Snakes are a key component in the balance of nature.Their presence or removal from an area directly impacts the health of an ecosystem.
