The incident could have been well handled. Firstly, the military security attached to the convoy was driving ahead. The military personnel seems to be less than 12. Secondly, who puts over 50 well armed police officers in a school bus in such area? Thirdly, civilians don't know how to handle driving fire figh. The bokoharam members started shooting immediately the military vehicles passed.

Who told you they don't request for Ransome

The main they released the video of these ladies is because some government officials were claiming ignorance about the kidnap even though it was reported in the news

They want to use they as ransom because right now they are starved off funds .And they need funds to regroup and get more ammunitions.They are hoping they will be outrage and press gives it attention so they can force Fg to negotiate

Remember after Chibok Girls were released days later they were intelligence reports in international media of Boko Haram agents spotted in Libya buying ammunitions
