300k can not do the foundation of any 4 bedroom bungalow with the current price rate of building materials.
Pls stop posting misleading info...

Only blocks, granite & sand will gulp the 300k...

did u even read what u wrote?
u used 6000 blocks for a 4 bedroom bungalow?
6000-600 =5400...
So u used 600 blocks for a foundation without openings, & decided to use 5400 blocks for the superstructure with openings...windows, doors & arc....

Mind u i am not talking about foundation that won't go above ground level, i am talking about a foundation that is a little bit high & not easily accessible by rain water.

But if u are an engineer going by the way u talk, i sorry for your clients....

I understand you now...bross in this area he is talking about nobody will build all this ur lekki and ajah standard DBC there abeg...have you been to that area before?the build DBC that some part is 1coach while some is 6coach block

As an engineer u should always recommend the best advise to client, it is now left for the client to decide. Using granite has nothing to do with location, If one is not able to afford granite, he should be able to afford stone base, gravel is always clouded with red sands & that makes it weak for major concrete works....Only a manson will recommend gravel, stone base isn't that expensive.

but why do u keep using DBC?

Without the drawing, I will assume some the dimension of the 4 bedroom bungalow and do this calculation for you.
Let's say your building measures: 10m x 6m..
It will take a total of 909 blocks to raise the foundation to DPC level at a minimum of 4 coaches i.e 1.2m from foundation.
@N150/block: 909 x N150= N136, 350.

It will take you 13 bags of cement to lay the blocks @1 bag for 70 blocks and another 18 bags to blind the foundation floor...Total N31bags.
31 bags x N2, 000= N62, 000.

Then labour to lay the blocks N 45, 450.
Labour to dig: N70, 000
Labour to cast the concrete N 18, 000
Mason labour

Then Sharp Sand, Chipping Stone/gravel..e.t.c.

Sir, N300, 000 cannot do the foundation (excluding the DPC) of a standard 4 bedroom all ensuite bungalow.

Budget around N750k if you are to do it by direct labour.

Moulding blocks at site i believe would reduce the cost of getting blocks
