OFF-TOPIC

Anyone here following the "Mighty Russia" page in Instagram?

There is a recent video shared of the SU-35s at the MAKS Air Show. The agility that fighter displays is completely un-fvcking believable!! shocked shocked

Are planes even supposed to be able to do that?

That fighter makes the F-35 look like a real fat turkey!

After going through the vehicle specs carefully. This is the vehicle most modern battlefields need. You can literally troll every insurgent with this little green thing.

Enough firepower, enough protection (just add RPG nets). The gizmos are top notch. I'd buy it first thing in the morning

(They also throw in some LED lights without extra fees)

And a few shots on the sensors with the Denel NTW-20 renders the thing blind:

Speaking of the NTW-20 -
Countries which have bought it for service since the SF 2.1km "pink mist" shot in the DRC (2013):
Croatia;
Uganda;
Colombia;
Malaysia;
Chile;
Spain;
Kazakhstan;
Lithuania;
Uzbekistan;
Qatar;
Oman;
UAE;
Brazil; and
Norway.

Countries who bought quantities too small for service, thereby suggesting evaluation and/or familiarisation purposes:
UK;
France;
USA;
Germany;
Denmark;
Finland;
Iraq;
Tunisia;
Saudi Arabia;
Italy;
Belarus;
Hungary.

Countries with insufficient details:
*Indonesia; and
Turkey.

*Indonesia is not on any official records I've perused and yet I've come across these pics online dated 4th quarter 2016 (which means they'll appear when SA files its arms exports report for 2017 in September).

Of course, India is a special case, right Nemesis2u wink?

PICS: Indonesia with the NTW-20.

Denel does not sell to non-state actors. Doesn't mean states won't forward-sell Denel products. huh
Exhibit A: No such state as Kurdistan, but their Special Forces are rocking Denel Inkunzi PAW.

Frumentius is pulling an Augububu on us... How many soldiers are trained in the art of hitting sensors let alone insurgents.

But that vehicle has heat seekers, hiding under a branch will get you a 40mm shell right in your face, you should try it frumentius but leave me your bike on your Will grin

Don't mention that fantasist's name, he might just make an appearance under his covert name wink.

M23 had trained snipers and embedded Rwandese SF. Seleka had veterans of the assault on Ndjemena and Khartoum and embedded Tchadian SF. The days of poorly-trained rebels/insurgents will become a thing of the past. Hence our fretting that APCs are our only C-130 transportable vehicles. The Army is in dire need of a light armour air-transportable combat vehicle. In other words, an Eland-type modern vehicle.

Is there a way the iNkunzi Strike TRT could be fitted on the Mamba or Casspir? Or maybe refit a Mamba with a 90mm special turret and have that whole vehicle dedicated to support?

Clearly you didn't see the F-35 at the Paris Airshow... I'll post a link later.

Technically you should rather compare it to the F-22 as they are in the same class.
