My friend bought Tecno W3 from OG Winners head office in Makurdi, she bought the phone on the 19th of June, 2017 and later discovered the keyboard was malfunctioning. She then returned the phone on the 10th of July 2017, that’s 3 weeks from the day she bought the said phone. OG Winners told her to come back after 10 days that they will have to take the phone to Tecno office.

Now the problem is, they returned the phone without changing the phone neither did they fix the phone. They told her that their guarantee is 3 days and there is nothing they could do about it.

My friend told them that the warranty is 12 + 1 months and that she discovered the fault within the stipulated time frame which is barely 3 weeks. The sales rep that sold the phone for her is now telling her that there is a difference between warranty and guarantee.
