Ordinarily I would have joined the bandwagon in condemning this guy but to be honest he should be hailed for what he did. Whatever manner he was able to pull this through would have required a lot of brain work. He didn't sell a non existent airport per se instead he used a shill, Senator Dr. Owudiwe, to have the client to buy into financing Abuja international airport which was under construction then. Although, he hadn't no genuine stake in the project. So the deal didn't require much brain work for an informed person. And the client wasn't really as dumb as people take him to be, he only fell for an intelligent perfidious group - any other intelligent business adventurous non suspecting person could have equally fall for the scheme then. Meanwhile, it was when he realized this particular fraud that he became a union bank largest share holder - he was a non executive director of the bank. In fact, the first two big deals that made him a billionaire before the airport deal occurred, hasn't been made known to the Nigerian government up to date. . .
