Lol... They R now so many ways to go online and download large files... Airtel 1k for 3hours night time plan can get you 7GB in that 3hours cuz the speed is super... Etisalats new app that allows you register and activate your sim free for timed internet 24/7 u can use like 600naira for 3hours but unlike Airtel it's day and night.. But the speed difference between the two networks Airtel is faster... Unless u get a 4G phone like Q10.. Then there is glo timed internet cheat with UC browser... Jeez.. It's like etisalats PAYG all over again... And there is etisalat cheap 2hours timed sub for YouTube very fast streaming... Then lets not forget NTEL... Find out about it if you don't know.... And now this Airtel unlimited 10,15 and 20... Then there is BB Android cheat for Airtel.. U can get like 12GB with 4k valid for a month plus... The list just goes on... Sorry I mixed both cheap and expensive ways of downloading large files.... 1 Like |

mikron: In your experience and area, what are the maximum download and upload speeds obtainable and sustainable on the ntel advanced unlimited packages? Kindly state which particular package(s) you're on, and whether or not the service has been rock solid? Your response may just influence my decisions on ntel subscriptions moving forward. TIA. (I've been on the regular N12.5k monthly unlimited bundle; the service had gone off for more than a week in my crib. The service was extremely irregular and essentially unusable long before it went off, anyways. However, it got restored two days ago, and so far has sustained the d/l speed now capped for the plan - about 1.3MB/s, which is about 10mb/s.) ........ P34c3 ..... ... |

duwdu:ok here we go, since i started using NTEL late last year i have been quite pleased with their service though there is still room for improvement  whenever i have huge files to download i prefer using the N500 unlimited 2 night plan since it was launched, it does the job for me, i can download more than 5 hd movies on torrent in 4 hours with a speed of about 900 KB/s and a speed of 2 MB/s on IDM for my regular downloads. it blazes superfast for me. what i do is that i buy N500 NTEL airtime through their NTEL portal http://mc.ntel.com.ng/, then i subscribe exactly 2 to 3 mins after 12 midnight, thats it.  but lately i prefer going for the N1,500 NTEL UNLIMITED 7 nights plan, works perfect. 7 whole nights of streaming and download. bro it rocks. sometimes around 3 am i get speeds as high as 6 MB/s though not everytime but i get steady download speeds of 1.4 MB/s on IDM everytime from 10 pm to 5am my location: Area 1 Garki FCT Abuja. 1 Like 1 Share
