Yea, no doubt. When you talk of quality lyrical content, majority of our artistes lack it.
Nor, blame them cos the few of them (2face, Asa, Darey, Johnny Drille,Adekunle Gold n the likes) that understands music do not get the kind of dough n endorsement their kpangolo counterparts have. I believe the sole aim of every entrepreneur(most musicians) is to make profit that is why they make the music that appeals to the mass.
Only few of Nigerians knows good music. Most Nigerians just need hits that will make them dance away their sorrows or forget about the painful fact that APC n Buhari lead government is scam.. lol
