You call them Touts, but when election comes they become 'electorates'. You carry your party banner wooing and begging for their votes.

You call them Touts, yet you don't see them at your doorstep like almajiri or agbero begging for food or Kai kai. They work for their hard earned money. Neither kanu not even ipob as an organization feeds them. They feed themselves.

You call them Touts because they don't speak excellent English as you perceive, yet they speak excellent Igbo, Ibibio, Efik, etc. They speak their mother tongues excellently. Because one isnt excellent in English does not mean the person is foolish or illiterate.

You call them Touts yet they have successfully filed their case and mission at the United Nation's Assembly and ECOWAS Parliament. They weren't ignored or downplayed.

You called them Touts yet they are organised and have a large and active diasporic stretch, in over 70 nations worldwide.

You call them Touts yet they are the main reason why the word "restructuring" has become popular and canvassed upon by the prrsent political class. Even the toothless ohaneze has suddenly found voice among pressure groups in buhari dispensation.

Keep calling them Touts or Miscreants, the truth is they are far more organized and progressive than all your political parties join together.

Even within Nigerian court, IPOB is currently winning the case against Nigerian government that started back in 2013.

The Nigerian government has been so disorganized in fighting against that case that even the judge was so disappointed and ruled in favor of IPOB to proceed with the case.
