Starting power for the wrong reasons , I hope it's worth it

Issit worth it?

It was okay, I've never played the games, but I was intrigued by the concept. I kinda wish it was a bit longer. Plus, it's only 4 episodes long, it got renewed for a second season (8 episodes).

So I finally fell for the hype about power and decided I was gonna download it..I downloaded it and Got my self dissapointed..The story is just there.. no depth..No intrigued.. no suspense.. noting to keep me guessing..It was wack..What they lack in the storyline they made up for in th sex scene..They knew the story was wack and decided to include the rawest sex scene in tv history I couldn't get pass episode 2..Power was more like a very cheap knock off of empire.. the acting wasn't good..The white guy who was ghost right hand man tried way too hard.. I wasn't feeling it..Overall the storyline was just full of cliche and things you would expect and thing you could predict..I knew it wasn't gonna be good but decided to give it a try..But I never knew it was gonna be this bad..Christ someone remind me never to fall for hype again

Here's the truth. When you can't get past the episode 2 of a series with a sizeable fan base. It's not the series. It's you.
You just made me pull out my dictionary and re-check "cliché" just to be sure. Dude, how is Power predictable? Are you sure you didn't read up the plot before watching the series? Abeg how and when did you discover that Kanan was behind the attacks on Ghost's network? Please give us an example of a mind-blowing storyline for a TV series (Your Own concept). But of course, you lost all credibility the moment you compared it to Empire. That is just like saying 24 is a cheap knock off of Prison Break.
And then there's your problem with Joseph Sikora's performance. Tommy Egan is easily one of the most captivating characters on the show if you bothered to actually watch it. Vladimir best described him. "He appears simple but he's full of surprises".

I don't stay in Nigeria so it quite hard for me to watch nollywood movie..and zee world isn't just for me..see I find power very predictable.. I watch just 2 or 3 episode lemme tell you things I was able to predict.. I knew ghost was gonna get back with his ex and have sex with her..there were so many scene that doesn't make sense...take for example the scene where ghost wife was in the car been driven home by her driver and she started masturbating in the car...Christ what was that ?..was that the best way to seduce someone..sorry tommy the white guy can't act..his acting sucks..and don't get me started on the Mexican they got to start playing drug dealer they were lame AF..like I said earlier the only saving grace for the series are the sex scene. nothing exciting about the series it was bland y'all hypocrite Nigerian ain't gonna admit tha

So the Tasha masturbation scene irked you? It irked others too. But every series has these few polarizing scenes. Besides, Sasha is a housewife not a professional str1pper. So she can be forgiven for not being the best seductress.

I thought the Lobos character was refreshing. I had never seen a gay drug baron before. So I found him interesting and get-on-your-nerves kinda annoying.
I'll admit it's not that exciting as soon as you admit that you have never watched it and that you're just trolling for attention .
