Many folks are just here condemning series and forgetting we all have different taste, one man's food is another man's poison, that you don't like a particular TV series doesn't mean someone else won't like it.

I actually view the thread with the hope of getting a new series i will be watching but was disappointed when i see some folks condemning super interesting series that i have watched

you get time ... you will be surprised that the "guy" you are arguing with is just 14 ( age wise ) ..

so when their parent give them access to phone during holiday ,they will come here and be saying trash

what makes up a series is not only action , that's why during emmy awards you see series getting nominated for something we dont think matters

like Best costume, best graphics, best dialogue, best sound track ( even best hair style )etc ... a series that cost $6m per episode you want them to just release all that will happen in one season NAH, thats not gonna happen , we are here for the entertainment, they are here for the business ...

there is no way series can be 100% perfect, i read somewhere on quora where a guy was criticizing GOT just because "the book" version is better, so he want the movie to be exactly like the book .. thats why you see COMIC FANBOY crucifying marvel movies because some are nothing like the comics .. we get millions of people queuing for episode 3 right right now and you are telling me they are dumb for waiting for it ?
see it is easy to recognize a bad series and we know them .. millions of people know it ... yes we might disagree with some part but that doesnt make it a bad series

I know what's he doing with the whole subtle "Eminem and Proof" thing he got going with "Tommy and Ghost". It's brilliant.

And yup, sex scenes are not entirely ornamental, they have their own purpose and it takes a surgeon's eye to see past the nudity and appreciate the nuances and hidden meanings embedded within them (I'm not saying some sex scenes aren't completely meaningless). Look at the time Greg Knox slept with Valdez in Season 3, making her think that he no longer believes she made the leak regarding Lobos transfer, and yet sneaking to sniff through her bag after just depositing a sizzling load of semen in her. Now tell me that particular sex scene was just mere eye-candy.

There's a reason the show is titled "Power". Sex is very much a power play. Valdez wrapped Greg's thinking faculties around her sweet little pussy, and Greg did the same to her. Ghost's dick interfered with Angela's rational mind. In a way, the sex scenes are pertinent to the storyline.

what some people don't know is that series like POWER is not complete without the sex scene, likewise series like ROME, SPARTACUS etc ... thats part of the thing that complete the series , the guy is just being an hypocrite, though i understand how he felt about this too
