@Mr. Johnnyessence
As far as German Student VISA is concerned. Even if you ain't paying a dime (Tuition Fee, Semester Fee e.t.c) to the school, you still have to

prove that you have enough money to feed and accommodate yourself for a year (which is the 8640 euros).

Or you ask one of your family member that you have in Germo to help you apply for a Sponsorship Letter (verpflichtungserklärung) @ their

Allien/Administrative Office.

Or you secure a Scholarship Letter from an EU/Germo Organization.

NOTE: Both the Sponsorship Letter & Scholarship Letter issuer will be responsible for what ever fee you are required to pay in Germany. Be it

Feeding, Accomodation, Tuition fee. That's if stated in your Scholarship Letter. e.t.c.

E.g. My Scholarship covers Cost of Travel, Health Insurance, Tuition Fee, Accommodation, & Monthly Stipend

The point of the whole story is Everyone (student) who wants to obtain a Student VISA must show either

Deut Block Account with 8640 Euros

Sponsorship Letter
Or
Scholarship Letter

So it does not matter whether you are paying tuition fee or not. I hope you will understand all this long story you make me type.

I will flog you if you ask us this question again oo undecided
Thanks for ur clarification.. How can one get the scholarship letter and what are the requirements for one going for her Masters Program. Secondly, what proof of English test is mostly acceptable between TOEFL and IELTS as regards a masters program? If a school needs TOEFL and I provide IELTS or vice versa, will it be accepted? Thank u. Abeg no flog me o.. smiley

I wish to use this opportunity to thank all members of this forum for making this possible by your wonderful contributions and sometimes advises, both the Ogas in Germany and the so called newbies, I can't count how many times most of you paid for my Uni-Assist fee right from part 2, I may not be able to mention all your names coz your many, you guys know yourselves, may God continue to guide and be with you guys in all you do...

I did my interview on 30th June 2017, and I also funded my blocked account before the interview.

Please my Ogas in Hamburg , ur boy dey come oooo, make una help me arrange accommodation before October 1st. Though I have applied to Hamburg studierendwerk for accommodation in student hostel since May, however am still on their wait list ,so any suggestions for alternative accommodation is welcomed .....

Hi guys...

Happy weekend to everyone.

I sense there's been a lot of tension in here lately, spats and blows flying around...

I don't think we have luxury of time to afford such distractions...Time is of the essence.

It happened that I got my admission since early June but due to some inexplicable difficulties, I'm yet to get my admission letter...

With the new development at the German Embassy, I'm really unhappy about how things look at the moment

But then, a wise man once said, when there's a will, there will always be a way! Impossible is nothing!
I'm very hopeful that #Winter2017 is very possible.

I believe there are very intelligent folks here...We just need to harness our will power, time and intellect to hatch out a feasible plan.
It's obvious we can't leave things to chances or throw our hands in the air...We can still cause a change!

I'm proposing a group of five people who are yet to get interview dates and are very optimistic that we can still pull this off.
I believe just 5 people will do and then we can share with others how we got the job done!

Let's take the bull by the horns guys! We can pull this off!

I got some ideas already but sharing it here...Not for now!
Too much cook spoil the....

If you want to join this indefatigable team:

Criteria: You need to get to Germany this September but you're yet to get an appointment date.
2.) Pollyannaish and never backing down in the face of challenges
3.) Resourceful and Dedicated

If you think you qualify, PM me or send me a mail at renewable0216@gmail.com

Please, noise makers and detractors are not invited.

We'd be back with results! I promise!

Expecting!

Requirements; Good Academic Grades in BSc; Usually First Class or Second Class Upper.

If you've got any info that may be helpful, the best thing is to share it with the house, it's somehow when you begin to create complexes amongst people by stating certain requirements one has to meet in order to get the information you want to share.

Dear HonourableSeyi,

pls what are the key questions and answers in visa interview that must be answered properly for guaranteed visa interview success?

honourableseyi:

Just write the year in the CV and worry not about the date. Either you remove it or not, the VO will definitely ask what you are doing presently. Just write "NYSC : 2016 - 2017 shikena. You can do the rest with your mouth during interview incase you get to the "what are you doing presently" part of the interview. Shalom
