Who did you knock down with your alabukun and dudu osun. Your mates posted car assembly lines, powerbike production, ampicillin, drugs and injections manufacturing, zinox computers and zpad tablet companies, polymer and rubber tyres and many other steel industries. Yorubas called their mods to delete and created a reply with long names of CEO's as their 'products'. And you talk about knocking down. Mumu. I insist , yorubad produce nothing worthy of mention. Rubbish.
You might need to do more research. Proforce in Ogun state, DEMFAS aerosystem in Oyo state, Nairaland, jumia, etc.

Yorubas don't brag doesn't mean they don't have industries.

Hmm,I like your observation. But what you don't seem to realize is that Nigeria is not one nation but several nations. So there will always be this kind of comparisons.
Thank you jare. We are not united. Nigeria is a country of several nations.

Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) is 100 percent owned by SIFAX Group and incorporated as an aviation ground handling service provider under the Nigerian Company & Allied Matters Act of 1990.

SAHCOL, which was formerly known as Skypower Aviation Handling Company Limited before it was privatized and handed over to the SIFAX Group on December 23, 2009, was carved out of the defunct Nigeria Airways as part of the Nigerian government’s Ministry of Aviation reform of 1996. SAHCOL business model is geared towards delivering premium service and this has necessitated massive investment in personnel development, fleet replacement and infrastructure development.

SIFAX Offdock Nigeria Limited was established in 2004 to efficiently operate offdock facilities and services of the Group. With the terminal located within two minutes drive from both the Apapa and Tin Can Island ports, SIFAX offdock is strategically located and accessible to the major ports from where it easily receives cargo as a temporary hold and provides easy exit for custom-cleared cargoes to any part of the country.

The terminal has a huge capital investment outlay in digital and modern terminal facilities, automated handling equipment, as well as latest Information and Communications Technology and security devices. In addition to well trained private security personnel and local arrow men, we also have well-armed mobile policemen to provide 24-hours daily security network services to ensure absolute safety of cargo, facilities and human life.

SIFAX Offdock, Trinity occupies an area of 31,000 square metres with capacity to hold 2,000 units of containers i.e. 1,375 x 20” and 625 x 40”. This is one of the few terminals in Nigeria (both conventional and offdock) that has functional and effective Reefer containers storage facilities with 200 plug-in points (with room for further additions).

The company offers warehousing services, which include efficient operations of bonded warehouses and terminals; as well as cargo and freight forwarding operations with efficient framework that monitors movement of cargoes from the consignor to the consignee’s warehouse in a cost effective and timely schedule. http://sifaxgroup.com/company/offdock/

J.O.F. Ideal Family Farms Limited, is a family-owned enterprise based in Owo, Ondo State. It is reported to be the biggest private employer in the State. The firm is a sole proprietorship that has now become a distinct household name, in the manufacture of organic soya oil, cashew processing, citrus farming, produce merchandizing, poultry and livestock feeds, table water production, construction, commodities brokerage and haulage interests. It was established by the late Reverend Canon Johnson Olajide Fagboyegun and the late Mrs. Fagboyegun. The company started life from humble beginnings, as a family business, named J.O. Fagboyegun and Sons, until it metamorphosed into J.O.F. Ideal Family Farms Limited, which is now a leading employee of labour in Nigeria.

Apart from dominating the manufacturing sector through their subsidiary JOF Vegetable Oil Company in Owo and allied produce companies in Akure and Lagos, the family also has an array of petrol stations and several hectares of lands having crops of industrial value. In the assigned role of balancing the business books, the late Mrs. Florence Olawunmi Fagboyegun, was able to put many university and polytechnic- trained accountant to shame.

She was ever meticulous and careful to find where leaks could occur, and prevent wastages. The kind of love and close bond she enjoyed with her husband, purposely showed in this attribute. Her husband, Canon Fagboyegun, was an unequalled resource manager. Late Mrs. Florence Olawunmi Fagboyegun was the matriarch of 30 biological offspring, including grand and great grandchildren. She took care of the biological children, and several other adopted family members, by paying attention to every developmental issue in the lives of all the children she adopted. She died in the early hours of Friday May 17, 2013. She was 83 years old.

When her son Tunji Fagboyegun took over the running of the farm, he focused on Agricultural Commodity Export and also teamed up with others to establish an organic fertilizer plant. His strategy allowed the firm to make substantial inroads into the US and UK market, by consistently providing high quality products to end users in those countries. The proceeds from the export sales of the Brazilian jumbo cashew nuts and other products, increased the revenue and profit base of the firm, and today, the company is a success story in the agricultural & agro-processing industry. http://www.sharpedgenews.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=823:memories-as-florence-the-fagboyegun-martriach-departs&Itemid=501

While Tunji Fagboyegun sits at the helm of affairs at JOF Ideal Family Farms in Owo, Ondo State, his younger brother Segun Fagboyegun handles the affairs of their subsidiary firm in Lagos called JOF Nigeria Limited.

Segun Fagboyegun who is is the Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of JOF Nigeria Limited, has over 25 years of experience in the fields of Law, Finance and Business Management.

He graduated from University of Ife with a Bachelors' degree in Law, and earned an LL.M in Maritime Law from the University of London (Kings College). He is also the founder of Segun Fagboyegun & Associates, a firm of solicitors, advocates and legal consultants based in Lagos.

Segun currently serves on the Board of Directors of several reputable companies including Tulip Cocoa Processing Ltd. and Araromi-Ayesan Oil Plantation Plc, amongst others. He is a member of the Institute of Directors (London).

He started JOF Nigeria Ltd in 1991 and the firm has now grown big in areas such as Commodity Trading, Import and Export Services, Logistics Services, Real Estate Development, Portfolio Investments in Shares and Vegetable Oil Manufacturing.

A few years ago, Adamawa State Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a frontline agro-allied company and a member of the JOF Group of Companies, JOF Nigeria Limited, in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement to finance the development of agriculture and agro-allied industry, as part of the administration's promise to industrialise the state.

JOF, which has been in the agriculture business in Nigeria for over 50 years, is partnering the government to establish a large scale sugarcane plantation. The success of the Fagboyegun brothers stems from the lessons their late parents inculcated in them and the legacy of honesty and hardwork they left behind. Both brothers are reported to be stupendously wealthy, but very modest in their outlook, and quiet in their lifestyle.

A lot of stories have been told about their family, and the way their activities have influenced the fortune of many people within Ondo state.

At one time, the Fagboyegun family even had to offer the Ondo State govt a loan, during the 2nd republic, when Chief Michael Ajasin was the governor.

Pure hogwash ,what about all those poor living in oworonshoki ,the millions of road side yam sellers and the rough area boys extorting money? You can't even walk on Broad St and Mushin is even worse.

You got what? shocked You only shot yourself in the foot, using your own words. sad Everyone can see hypocrisy written all over you. Were you not the one who first started boasting that your people were better businessmen than others - despite the fact that ample evidence had been provided to disprove that claim?

Then you exposed your hypocrisy again by claiming there was 'less inequality in the east.' undecided What a joke. cheesy Later, you unmasked the rest of your hypocritical face, by claiming that: " An Igbo can go live in Malaysia ,Texas ,South Africa or Brazil and still thrive independently while you people only " thrive" in only one region due to peddling influence ,connections to powerful people." sad It was then pointed out to you, that the news of your people's antics in those foreign cities you mentioned, was a poor yardstick for measuring influence.

In your own view, people from other ethnic groups do not thrive in different foreign countries abroad, not so? In order to embellish your lies further, you further claimed there were only 2 billionaires in the south west, sorrounded by a sea of paupers. Let me guess: you did a census in order to arrive at this false conclusion? Or you were just eager to spread your peculiar brand of falsehood and propaganda? shocked

sad Finally, you turned round to mention Ijora, Badiya, Ajegunle and the slums. You were trying to paint the whole of Lagos black, by pretending the only areas that exist in the whole city were slums filled with destitutes. This was disproved, and your lies were exposed. Can you see how you shot yourself in the foot with your whole hypocrisy? But since deceit runs in your veins, it is not surprising to see that you still wear your hypocrisy, like a badge.

jumia is not a Nigerian owned company. The reason I called them (Yudala) big is because they launched to compete with Konga and Jumia, except that they came very late when the recession was storming.

I thought is that they would have appeared big if not for recession, it cost a lot to survive in recession so I know they are fighting hard to stay afloat. Even Jumia hardly advertise these days, living on past glory, which is a good thing for being early bird that catches the worm.

jumia is not a Nigerian owned company.

Once again, Yudala is not a huge deal. Give me reasons? Facts and figures.

PS Jumai was founded by a Yoruba man.

Demfas Aerosystems, is a Nigerian Radio Frequency Solutions devices manufacturing company. It is the first indigenous Radio Frequency (RF) device manufacturer and solutions startup company in Nigeria, and West Africa. Tosin Fasasi is the current owner and MD of the company. He studied at Shenyang Aerospace University in Northeast China, Asia. He already has 1 patent for his products, and two RF solutions tech products with prototypes fully ready (i.e. a radio communication system and an RF/RCIED jamming system). An RCIED system is a remote controlled improvised explosive device jammer, that has a lot of potential in military operations.

Tosin Fasasi is currently developing other products, with each one at various stages of development. These products under development include, Mobile Signal Repeater, Band Selective Repeater, Channel Selective Repeater, Frequency Shift Repeater, Fiber Optical Repeater, ICS Repeater, Digital Repeater, Vehicle Booster, Line Amplifier, Outdoor Antenna, Indoor Antenna etc.

He is highly interested in new Stealth Applications, and has done extensive work in this field. His new application appears to be superior to present stealth applications, with no issue operating in an area where UHF or frequencies with longer wavelengths are being employed. It has been described as Electromagnetic waves bending around a surface. He is currently working on a non-nuclear electromagnetic pulse, capable of disrupting the shape/form of a propagating electromagnetic wave (preferable radar waves) within a bandwidth.

Demfas Aerosystems is a radio solutions manufacturing startup to enhance communication in West African countries, through Radio Frequency communications systems and fiber and ICS repeater to extend signals coverage range.

The aim is to strengthen communication in western African countries with our products, in applicable use by security agencies, various industries, and individual. We are providing instant voice quality across a wider area and having a stable and immediate communication in times of emergency and also providing a stable communication in rural areas whereby cellular signal are inoperable since they operate on radio frequencies. These communications are secured and encrypted, GPS tracking and others. https://www.f6s.com/demfas

The company is based in Oyo state, South West Nigeria. Demfas Aerosystems deals in the manufacturing of telecommunication equipment, radio frequency solutions products and accessories. It is a leader in radio communications products, services and solutions. They work with leading researchers, experts and others who share a vision for transforming the telecommunication industry to effectively meet the needs of our customers. https://demfasaerosystems.com/about/
