MrMarc:

This information can be misleading as this statement isn't completely true...

People who got denied for lack of home tie (Inability to convince the V.O that they would return after completing there program) obviously weren't ophans as they have families.

What is home tie??
"In summary; These are compelling reasons that mandates/persuades or make a person to leave a foriegn land and return to ones home country"

It is your duty to convince the judge (V.O) with facts and evidence before he passes his verdict on your application.

Relationships comes in different ways when to be used as home tie.

1. Your kids, fiance, wife and hubby are strong relationship ties that can compel anyone to come back after studies. "There must be proof" birth certificates, marriage certs e.t.c

2. Your parents becomes a reasonable tie of you can convince the V.O that you are the only person that can take proper care of them as they are old can only be happier when you are around hence you are highly needed to return home and care for them.

3. I don't see any situation where your siblings become a good enough tie. (Don't bank on this alone as home tie pls)

4. Family business (Once it is documented and registered)

Finally as for your parents/sponsors' landed documents, those are not "your" home tie as your parents/sponsors own those property hence i would classify those as financial clout of them being able to foot your bills rather than your home ties.
In simple terms; How does your parents lands compel you to return to Nigeria after your studies??

Thank you.

I agree. I have seen many successful TRV applications who themselves are single and property-less, but whose parent's financial clout, served as sufficient ties to a VO as factor that will induce return. It's not an easy factor to deduce I must confess, one has to simply do their best and present a totality of their particular circumstance and pray and hope for for the best. I have seen people say because they are the breadwinners of their parents, that this would act as a home tie. To the contrary, doesn't this mean Canada will be a better place to make money and continue to support their parents? Age old and ailing parents needing physical care sounds better.

I think I'd resort to searching for a Masters in Computer Science that doesn't require a supervisor

That's a red flag! Ur undergraduate is plant science(if I am not mistaken) and you are going for computer science, they are not related. The VO will consider purpose of visit and u risk being denied. I still think u need to search well. There may be some course based programs u can find that are related to ur UG. Patience is the key!

Have the Nigerian school send it officially in the mail to the school in Canada and that will take care of business once and for all. Because even if you submit a pdf copy now, eventually they will want a hard copy in the mail sent directly to them by the school you graduated from. Best wishes.

Yes you are suppose to get a mail stating your passport has been dispatched but if you don't get it just wait around 7 days or more after receiving final decision been taken then visit VFS for your passport (with all things been equal)

Hello boss,

1. Thank you for telling us their meaning.
2.I cannot really say if there is a combined course like that but I would suggest you use google. On the other hand, except you have a documented experience in IT, explaining to the Visa Officer why you are switching from accounting to IT might be an uphill task (I am assuming you will get admitted). Also, do get your HND and ND evaluated by an evaluation body like World Education Service (WES). I am not sure using your HND directly will get you admitted to a masters program but evaluating it might get you admitted (I am no expert in this, so I might be wrong).

3. It is possible. Do the schools you chooses an email to know if english tests can be waived for you.

4. TRV means Temporary Residence Visa.

PS: Na boss you be.. I salute your level of maturity boss.

Have a good one.

Thank you very much sir, let me start my research I'll pop up in the case of any progress

Thank you sir

This was the mail I got
Your processed passport has been despatched from the Canada Visa Office {Location}, on 25/07/2017 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. Does that mean that, my passport is ready for collection..

Yes, but wait till Tuesday before going for it. Normally VFS is suppose to mail you to come over for it but if by Tuesday you don't get it I will advise you go(it will be there by then)

My candid advice have been following your quotes

search for course programs in agricultural programs in any college or uni with your first degree and knowledge in botany/plant science if you construct a strong statement of purpose to the supervisor/vo.my dear millions of fundings will fall on you so far nigeria matter is concerned is all about faith and work though am just passing the message to you as am led.

As for the program in agriculture you hate it you don't like it never mind get there first with it
Take your time study and do that don't rush

best of luck

Good morning everyone, Please if CIC requests for additional documents, how should it be sent? Do I combine all the documents in a single file or it can be sent separately? Also what's the maximum size the documents can be? Awaiting your response. Thank you

Just attach them in a mail and send. No need to merge or group.
