Britain Must Be Called Back To Rule Nigeria by Obalende: 7:26pm On Jul 31, 2017 |
*** I did not say the Caucasian race is the solution. I said British nationals (including Nigerian British) - it is the culture that they bring to the table not skin color... I already said what those were: honesty, punctuality and responsibility. Original Post: Why not? We have good resources they have good governance. Nigeria worked until Independence. Black man swallow ur pride be humble and let us make Nigeria a British Overseas Territory. 6 Likes |

I hope you know that most people believe that we're still suffering the consequences of their 'good governace' till date? |

Obalende:Stop this foolishness. This is exactly what Britain wanted to achieve by creating Nigeria. They brought heterogeneous nations and lumped into one country for their selfish purpose–Chaos. And it's working. They also left behind a structure that will produce the sort of mindset you just exhibited. Your mind is their playground. If your mind was emancipated from the mental slavery of the brutish British you'd know better than ask for a repeat. 7 Likes |

Op wait for Biafra to come and you will realize that all black men and cultures are not the same. Biafra will put so many people to shame. Your desperation to maintain one Nigeria is the reason you want Britain to come takeover. 15 Likes 3 Shares |

Chikpat:Exactly. His mind, like that of many Nigerians, is messed up. A person who raped one's family to a point of death is asked to return simply because he fed them well as he raped them. We have a long way to go. We need somebody who will transform our educational system. A minister of education with a brain and not these dull old men creating more problems. 2 Likes |

Rubbish idea... How embarrassing. Has Nigeria really come to this point?! Why can't Nigeria focus on regenerating and re-inventing itself than move backwards. Forward NOT backwards. 2 Likes |

Sapiosexuality: You are on point . Some of our youths are either not learning or they are learning the wrong values of life. Painfully, they r just comfortable dat way and I understand why we are crawling where we should b running; in our quest for a truly great nation wherein the plentitude of the cesspool of our national resources will b put to use for great infrastructural developments dat will impact on the security our nation and our people....surely we need change in Nigeria. And Change must come to Nigeria; the real change not this "sparkle" from the APC. |
Re: Britain Must Be Called Back To Rule Nigeria by Obalende: 8:15pm On Jul 31, 2017 |
Chikpat:They always resort to insults. Both the Nigerian and British are brothers and sisters it's not a rivalry. Britain is clearly a better run country. Maybe some British law makers and policy makers and urban planners could help. And get British Police reinforcement and international police from UN to help with kidnapping? I hv no Inferiority Complex simply result oriented. Japan is fine too. Even South Africa. No shame in admitting help is needed. Britain is easier to coordinate because they were our former masters. 'Master, wat are some things u do in Britain. We would like to learn or you could even come rule for another 20 yrs'. Black man pride too much sha. God forbid 2 Likes |

Obalende:Your depth of reasoning is shallow. This is not an insult. Do you think you have the capacity to bring this thing you seek from the British? I mean you personally. Are you also too dumb like the rest of the black people you claim have pride or you have a working brain that can take us there? 1 Like |

Re: Britain Must Be Called Back To Rule Nigeria by Obalende: 8:36pm On Jul 31, 2017 |
freshest4live: You are taking this personally and I don't get personal. Pre and post colonial Nigeria are vastly different. Every well meaning Nigerian seeks results. If I have a rich brother I will ask him wat he does. Same just ask Britain wat they are doing differently. The fact that thus suggestion is being opposed shows why the country is backward. If I am a new surgeon I will ask more experienced surgeons questions 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Britain Must Be Called Back To Rule Nigeria by Obalende: 8:39pm On Jul 31, 2017 |
freshest4live: I have lived in Nigeria Britain middle east and North America. This suggestion is the best for Nigeria. The best thing British influence can bring to Nigeria is a culture of honesty and punctuality. There is no shame in admitting this! Nigerians need exposure to a better culture in this regard. Note that the British continue to learn from all the Nigerians living in Britain the good things our own culture has to offer. 1 Like 1 Share |
