What an ironic world, got admitted since mid June and I've booked appointment date with the embassy slated for 17 August., But funding blocked account and getting declaration of sponsorship letter (Verpflichtungserklärung) has been my only issue. When I see people who have the money to fund blocked account but couldn't get a date wt embassy I feel bad, and I wish I could exchange my date wt you cos I'm thinking of cancelling my appointment anytime soon if it becomes impossible to meet up... I need help, if I could get any from you guys I'd be very grateful.

Good day sir/ma Please i want to bring to your notice the situation we are facing presently at the German conculate in my country we have been informed that we cant apply for student visa for this semester anymore because all appointment dates are booked out stating we should apply for the next summer by november or december the sitution has been so devastating and has weigh a lot of applicants including myself because the school i gained admission to KV hochshule rhein waal ( Bachelor degree) only runs winter semester for my program which invarably means that i will have to wait for another whole year before i can apply for a student visa again apart from the money spent alone while pursing the visa processing the stress passed through is not friendly please i will like to suggest if you can please provide more V.Os in the german embasseys it will be appreciated we also have another german embassey in abuja that is not in use in terms of student visa if applicants can be moved there to have their interviews that will also be appreciated.

I'm of the view that we should extent or peaceful remonstrations to our Concerend ministries in Nigeria as well to come to our solace and not just limit ourselves to the German foreign offices alone . Internal and external affairs . We know the decadence in these parastatals , but let's just try . Thank you.

It's freaking hard for these countries not to ask us for IELTS when they read some of the English we write in Nigeria.

As far as German Student VISA is concerned. Even if you ain't paying a dime (Tuition Fee, Semester Fee e.t.c) to the school, you still have to

prove that you have enough money to feed and accommodate yourself for a year (which is the 8640 euros).

Or you ask one of your family member that you have in Germo to help you apply for a Sponsorship Letter (verpflichtungserklärung) @ their

Allien/Administrative Office.

Or you secure a Scholarship Letter from an EU/Germo Organization.

NOTE: Both the Sponsorship Letter & Scholarship Letter issuer will be responsible for what ever fee you are required to pay in Germany. Be it

Feeding, Accomodation, Tuition fee. That's if stated in your Scholarship Letter. e.t.c.

E.g. My Scholarship covers Cost of Travel, Health Insurance, Tuition Fee, Accommodation, & Monthly Stipend

The point of the whole story is Everyone (student) who wants to obtain a Student VISA must show either

Deut Block Account with 8640 Euros

Sponsorship Letter
Or
Scholarship Letter

So it does not matter whether you are paying tuition fee or not. I hope you will understand all this long story you make me type.

No one is forming English Proffesor!!! I'm sure you read what someone sent to the embassy on here too?? It's definitely not too much for us to demand we all do better at what we do. I sure as hell didn't mean it as a jab or to put him down, but the construction of parts of the post isn't encouraging.

It will take nothing less that 3 months.

But hopefully btw 3 - 5 Months. Because Document Checking, Marriage Verification, Information Transit & Approval takes time
.
Most especially if the person in question has not yet been to Germany before or obtain any Schengen VISA bfor.

So be patient and pray along as well.

please what is the embassy email address one ought to send DB funding confirmation to. and which other document(s) should be send alongside the confirmation mail.

From what i noticed about the German Embassy here in Lag...they don't give out appointment date anymore for the winter semester 2017 even if you're to resume in December...please what do we do...I got an extension letter from my sch yesterday and even at that...they still emailed stating no more date for the winter semester 2017 students. I have also paid the compulsory semester fee as asked by the Uni Bremen. Please someone should advice.
