Bovi is right, I'm a father and I can't be going about begging for money to do something as inconsequential as naming ceremony.A parlour naming is enough! We try to impress people with some ceremonies really, waste money, run into debt in the process just to look good in the eyes of people.

That you didn't gather people to name a child doesn't mean people won't accept the child's given name. So what's the fuss about? It's a different ball game if the money was needed to foot bills in the hospital after delivery or something and I'm sure Bovi won't have reacted the way he did. I personally won't give a dime for such thing, call me mean if you wish

Thank God I no marry Yoruba. My naming ceremony was done inside my parlour. No support from any one when my wife is going thru cs. You live long when u stop following trends. I have extra cash to foot bills n not merriment.
