Profit = revenue - expenditure

Revenue does not = Profit

Hence their revenue from ads does not still cover their expenses.

But twitter has gone public(stock exchange), in the long term it will rake in cash.

all e'm company going into the social media businesses should expect war from Facebook, or how do you think Facebook got where it is today, by playing nice ? hell no they had to kick MySpace outta the equation to become the giant so if you going in prepare to fight to win or surrender (by selling off),

snap inc. had a good fight but they where too nice whereas Facebook was out to get blood, right now facebook is at the top.

Nairaland runs on a single 500Gb Western Digital hard disk Seun bought second hand.

That's the reason behind all the crashes, Error 502s, plain design, and the restrictions of 4mb for pictures and 250Kb for other filetypes.

Shame he needs an army of mods to manage one measly hard disk.
