BEVERLY HILLS, August 03, (THEWILL) – Human rights activist, Chief Mike Ozekhome SAN says the refusal of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to submit reports of investigated corruption cases to the Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF, as required by the Constitution, has thrown Nigeria into a big governance mess.

Stressing that the attitude of the anti-graft agency is a naked display of impunity, akin to the greatest form of corruption, the Constitutional lawyer asserted that by shrouding its activities in secrecy, the EFCC acts like Witches and Wizards.

He declared that by refusing to submit investigation reports to the nation’s Attorney-General, “the EFCC is not only breaching section 10 of the EFCC Regulations, 2010, but is actually subverting the Nigerian Constitution in a most flagrant manner”.
