There is Juju. Real.

My uncle would have lost his life a Long time ago if not for African insurance. When he was in the North, at the time, he was broke and decided to use his car as taxi to make some money. During the time, there was a argument and Northerners gathered around him. He has a ring that when he put it on, if he pack sand with that hand and flings it, anybody the sand touches will faint. He doesn't need to touch them with the ring. When he did that, some fainted and others left him so he could escape.

In the early 80s, a politician who was friend to my dad was attacked by thugs. He was stabbed and macheted without any wound. When the thugs saw it, they thought he was using Igbadi (juju tied around the waist) so they tore his clothes and checked his waist, there was nothing there before thugs sympathetic to him came around. The juju was a ring in his trousers' pocket!

Also, there are things that would happen, juju or no juju but we ascribe to Pastor's prayers, holy water, juju and whatnot. In Jos, an Igbo man has his shop and market was not moving. He was introduced to an Alfa. The Alfa was reluctant in doing any juju for him since he wasn't a Muslim. After much pressure, the Alfa promised him the next day. He forgot. When the Igbo guy came the next day, he just scrapped the black soot behind his wife's pot and ask him to mix it with pap and drink then come back for others. Guy took "medicine" that evening and the sales the next day was PHENOMENAL!!!

So sometimes, what happens is not due to any Juju or spiritual things. Things just falls in place. I also know that even with prayers or Juju, you won't get what you want and they will tell you it is your fault. You didn't use it the right way, or God has a reason for not answering your prayers now. I have seen effect of rings that affect someone's Coordination for some time. Maybe it will b explained later by science but until then, juju dey oooo.

Anyone arguing jazz na complete idiot.
Exactly! It's called scopolamine also known as the Devils breath. Puts one in a zombie-like state and you can be instructed to do anything.

the guy called me to come and make incision on his leg (the hind), I was scared but he assure me nothing dey.

as I make the first incision, my mind shake, couldn't continue so I left na after 1 week, he called me to come again, I was first scared that maybe na another incision, he said no that he want to answer my question (I asked what the incision was for but he no tell me the day I was trying to make it)

Getting to his dad room, he asked me to close the door, and I did and the most magical thing happen.
he faced me and put his left leg in the front of the right and touch the incision on the hind with the incision on the leg thumb and he became invisible at that moment. I was very scared that I made an attempt to run off but before I open the door he opened it back and laugh.

since dat day I feared him like hell.

Voodoo?

I am an advocate of Jesus Christ, so I do no voodoo, the greatest gift my parent has ever given me is knowing God.

Most of the time, I pity people who ventures in this things, because it has its own repercussions, which the person doing it will not enlighten you about it more.

Get Jesus Christ, the person who will freely give and not be waiting to receive from you.

Ogbeni, juju dey. I do not and will never engage in its use though. I recently encountered a very strange illness, and if not for Gods mercy, hospitals as big as National hospital and teaching hospitals could not see a thing. every scan and test showed negative and doctors would tell me "I am fine" while I was in pain. and not until it was revealed that it was a spiritual attack and I was prayed for that I began feeling relief. up till now Dr's in both National hospital and Benue State Teaching hospital can't point out what my issue is . So don't wait till they knack u jazz before u believe in its existence

@op,in a nutshell you are saying that there is no voodoo, right? If so,please where are you.I am in Ibadan,if you can spare spare sometime out of your busy schedule to come down to Ibadan. We can organise a little show with some volunteers from nairaland to come witness it.There is a guy here,if he hits you with an amulet, you won't stand up until he gives you the antidote. If you doubt it,let's put this together.
some people a specially trained to know the weak point of human body. Just like martial artists, the study the human anatomy, so they know where to hit you to either weaken you or make you faint. You also need to verify if those people he used to display his tricks are actually not stooges. Just pm me, I will send you my phone number. I must not come to Ibadan before he can perform he juju. Abi can't juju work without contact again? He can send ghost or demons to my house, can't he do that? grin

Don't fool yourself. All powers belong to God. What we have are positive and negative energy. And they are functions of how humans apply power!

if you must be a researcher and want to learn , be ready to spend some money. Get some funds, come to Kogi State, let me take you some places and show you some things live.

if you think our soldiers and police men don't do it you are deceiving yourself, there is a secret I don't want to expose here of how one of my village person made his money, "legally".

I doubt if there are any igala person in the force who knows his village well who doesn't have such protections.

These things aren't done ordinarily, a lot of sacrifices has to be done and it has repercussions.
They also aren't mostly for shows. if you try to use it for show, it could fail you.
when you meet a real jazz man he will tell you the implications of what you want him to do for you, they don't do it for themselves because of the implications and sacrifices involved.

I have seen a lot and have done it.

At tender age, while I was still in kaduna, when we were still young and stubborn, we saw people who had protection against machetes and guns. we were interested in it. some of my friends did it and it worked live. it sometimes fail, but it doesn't disprove the fact that it exists. it sometimes doesn't last forever, you might need to keep in renewing it. one day, they'd ask you for what you'd find hard to give.

if you must receive, you must give.

I'm sure you want to test, come to Kogi State as I said. I also want to help you learn. But you must make up your mind to accept the aftermaths and all sacrifices involved and never to say anything to anyone.

I was always skeptical about voodoo, witchcraft and all that even when i was into religion too, my friends kinda hated me whenever i disagree with them with good points. But as i grew older i knew i wasn't skeptical anymore i was sure voodoo is full of bullshit and tricks.

Haiti, one of the poorest country in the world is deep deep in voodoo. Why dey can use this voodoo to get out poverty? And with all the juju & co, our forefathers has been colonized by British and France. And u r saying to me dat juju and voodoo r real? Abeg. Real in what?
Why the juju did not make them invisible or at least, to kill british general army or make all the white soldiers who came in our land, sick or mad?
All the juju and voodoo supporter hav to answer the question.

My friend who told some soldiers don't have voodoo, my brother who is a soldier told us wen he went to Sierra Leone for peace keeping, there was this their commander who use to disappear and reappear to command them wen ever they are facing enemies. he was later killed wen he appeared an met an incoming bullet. That's one thing with voodoo though, it can fail u at anytime.

I'm pointing to the fact that voodoo is useless because if it really worked, our forefathers won't have patronised Christianity or Islam, and the whites who came to live among us would have died from a host of deity inflicted diseases.
.

someone had earlier in his post mentioned that Juju works on energy fields, perhaps for some unknown reasons, there is something in the energy fields of the black man that makes Juju permeable, while for the white man there is a sort of invisible energy/force field that render it impregnable.
