when is it suppose to end,i planted first season maize and i get very very poor yield,yet to recover from the shock but i wanto try again

The only way you can have a decent yield is if your land is super fertile. Without the use of fertilizer/manure, you'll have a poor maize yield.

Don't even go near hybrid corn without fertilizer. Has a higher nutritional requirement compared to the regular op varieties.
