What what3word does is to assign a unique 3 letter word to a 3m x 3m area on the earth. The earth has been transformed into a grid like surface of 3m x 3m squares, so each square has a unique name to it. using the map explorer at https://map.what3words.com, you can locate your address and see the unique name it has. so when you use NIPOST you just give them your unique 3 words and they'll possibly check those words their own way and know where to deliver the package.

Example for the Ikeja Mall, you can see the individual square below, each square has a unique 3 word phrase. At the bottom of the image you can see the 3 words for the square the Pin is over.

Foreign country originated parcels often go missing due to poor addressing system.

You are right ,I just heard that one of the safe breakers who was employed as an inspector in EMS somolu , is now a lecturer ,the guy was said to have destroyed lots of homes by breaking into stronghold where currencies were kept. He was sacked and after 7 years he found his way back by bribing his guys. He was transferred again to NAHCO ,again he pilfered letters and was intercepting mails with currency ,he was caught again and transfered to the East where he messed up the post office station there and escaped to Lagos with a Phd. His guys connected him into National Open University again where he is now a lecturer , selling questions paper and projects marks . Nobody bother to investigate his records at his new work place . He is Afonja man Dr Niyi Adegoke now slaying academically.

Don't be ignorant, the mail system is still as relevant today as it was in the past.

Should you decide to study abroad, you'll be needing the postal system to send your documents to your school. Asides, banking documents and official government papers are still sent via the postal system

Nonsense....he should name the 6 countries that use that address system. He should tackle the biggest problem affecting Nipost... theft and corruption... he needs to first clean house and put systems in place to keep it that way. USPS is not the most trusted entity in the US by luck... they have systems in place to maintain that public trust....the reason why passports...birth certificates... US Citizen Certificstes... iphones, car tyres and parts....TVs.. pet fishes, live bees, cooked foods, gold and diamond jewellery ....and...and ...much of UPS, Fedex and a whole lot of DHL packages ....all come thru the mail. Not possible without trust...he needs to make that a priority.

- petrol for their vans
- working vehicles
- honest carriers who won't steal your package
- workers who actually show up to work instead of gossip
- light, so that the computers will be useful to turn code into location
- network, so that when they lookup a package they will know how to route it
- light, yes again, so they can charge the mobiles they will use to check gps
