It's nothing to do with growing up nor does it have anything to with your parents biological or otherwise.
Clinical depression is not necessarily attributed to a reason or to a cause. For some people they are just engineered that way. It's not about what is missing in that persons life. It's a melancholic feeling that you cannot shake off. Suicidal thoughts do occur because you are feeling worthless and hopeless, not being here then becomes an option rather than face another way.

You can have depression all your life what might vary is the intensity and the frequency. It's not about problem solving that's your way of saying there are practical ways of solving depression the mind is like open space there is so much that still needs to be learnt.

I know why you people feel the way you feel, it's simply because Most High said it's not good for a man or woman to be ALONE but it's way deeper than that,I've been living by myself for almost a decade without any friends ever since I came into the truth but I dont have any reason to be Alone because I have a Companion who keeps me company,now many people who go thru depression is simply because they are DEAD, they've been separated from Life, one doesn't necessarily have to die before they are DEAD....you know what I'm gonna stop here there's no point talking to dead people
