But the authorities haven't been after kanu lately. Also l don't think Yolicom can pull a crowd in any part of Yoruba land even in the next 5 years. However l believe if Yoruba wants their country, they would be more tactical about it and patiently build even if it takes them 100 years.

Kanu wasn't popular because not many knew about him or his radio Biafra, they hardly made the news, but his sentiments are nothing new to many igbos.
In mid 2015, when l was in Portharcourt, his radio Biafra station was popular amongst taxi drivers, and most Igbo people who heard him then shared his sentiments, what he needed was media coverage and popularity(Yolicom has all that already).
Buhari gave Kanu the platform to express himself to all Nigerians.

i can authoritatively tell you that among the yorubas, the last thing that will divide the people is Religion because if you see a family with 5 children, 3 of them might be muslim and the remaining 2 will be christian and vice versa. Unlike here where a Rev. Father from Anambra can never oversee any church in Imo. You migth even see a pastor and an alfa in the same family in yoruba land so you people should try harder.
