You seem to have a problem with inconvenient facts. Don't confuse anything Igbo with African. That's a deliberate distortion of my claim. I never generalized Africans as illiterate. I mentioned nothing about other African societies, but I've specifically stated Igbo pre-colonial civilization was illiterate. If you dispute that, rather than your ridiculous indignation, please post examples of any ancient existing Igbo texts and writings that shows literacy. I don't mean inscriptions like the Nsibidi system of Eastern groups (mostly Ekoid people) that was more artwork than an actual writing system. I mean anything readable and translatable into coherent language. I'll wait for you to school my "ignorance".
