nototribalist:Thank you. I am an afonja. I accept. And is there anything wrong with being Muslim? We Yorubas don't discriminate on the basis of religion. Yoruba comes first. Make Yoruba great again! That is my slogan. |

. I would end with a reference to a principle I encountered in the book, 48 laws of power by Robert Greene. And it goes thus: a strategem is more powerful than weapons of war as it (stratagem) has the power to destroy the lives of babies in the womb of their mothers. An apt example is the genius of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo who without firing a single bullet, defeated the the biafran forces and essentially brought the Nigerian Civil war to an abrupt end through the power of his immense intellect. The effect of Awolowo's sheer intelligence is still being felt by the Igbos today who have essentially been turned to generators of internal revenue for the children of Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello. The war has been won and lost, we do not need another war in Nigeria. Never again!Strategem is now being replaced with hypocrisy, notice the same Awolowo never employed any stratagem to bail himself form the life jail sentence handed over to him by Ahmadu Bello . but he developed strategem to starve innocent women and children to untimely dearth during the civil war, I swear common sense is really uncommon. Tufiakwa !!!! And some fools will believe this. |

Are Nigerians seeing the trajectory of this thread? While we seek for the peace of the motherland, other are wishing her strife and sorrow. We knew the plans from the onset but you have failed. We would continue to hold our peace and not fall for the trap. |

We admit that things are not right with the present structure of the Country but willing to make the necessary changes to accommodate all interest and viewpoints. Tearing apart the union might have the "feel good" sense to it but doing that comes with conflict. Any successful person would not want to die? How many Nigerians have passports or visas to elope in times of war? Even if one one has a passport, what about money for flight tickets? |

Igbophobia, some Yorubas sleep, dream and wake up with Igbos in their mind. The Zoo is really collapsing. Igbos are really frustrating some people! |

We shall go about things in the right way in Nigeria and not by threatening violence. The eviction notice will be rescinded and things to go back to normal. |

Another reason why we should resist being goaded into conflict by the igbos is because they are a defeated race already hence the constant frustration from them. The effects of the civil war defeat of the igbos is still being felt by them. What we are witnessing right now in the form of the current agitations is that the present generation of igbos just came to the realisation that igbos have been consigned to slave status (2nd class citizens in their own country). This sudden reality is why they are exasperated. It is the stubborn struggle of a dying animal. In Yoruba, we call it (japooro). Ibo n japooro ni.....But why then is it that anytime they talk about leaving, people like you act as if they ate your lunch? Your post is full of logic suicides. No vex o. |

Unfortunately, only never do wells, jobless people, frustrated people are interested in your warped lamentation. The idiot is claiming he has no friends as Igbos, you need to crawl out from whatever cave you are domiciled in. There are enemies within and without, there are friends within and without. Armed robbery, ritual killings abound every where. Families kill among themselves, you need to upgrade from the level you are. |
| Re: Nigerians Would Not Be Pushed To War By The Igbo's. by oneafric: 8:02am On Aug 08, 2017 |
Alcatraz005:No, you are still not being logical. Why the bloodshed? Since Igbos are permanent second class citizens and will never be accepted to lead Nigeria, logic dictates that you ask them to leave. Sort of like what the northern youths are doing. They make more sense to me than you. |
