[color=#990000][/color]Pls be informed that a soldier of 343 ARTILLERY REGIMENT of rank WARRANT OFFICER (WO) ESSANG OKON attached to a duty location at Iju was caught in a fire fight at about 050010A Aug 17 Saturday in an ambush op supporting militants against Operation Delta Safe OPDS troops. He was demobilized as he was shot in the leg by own troops . Efforts are ongoing to unravel the circumstances that led to the soldier been found at the scene and time on mufti without a military Identity card. Picture attached
