Maduawuchukwu: It is important to ask states and LG to account for what is currently accruing to them. A state that cannot account for how they spend the tax they currently collect, the allocation they are currently getting plus 13% in some cases, will still not be able to account for 100% resource control. You take a look at the current revenue allocation to states. States like Delta, Bayelsa , Rivers states etc ought to reflect in their citizens standard of living and IGR. A state like Bayelsa with small population are owing upward of 6 months salary. What do you say of situations where states that are owing many months of salary collected Paris club refund and then convert them to personal use? Corruption is the reason why such states are seriously lagging behind. Corruption can be liken to someone fetching water with a basket. Nothing can be retained. More money, just means more loots, irrespective of the level of Govt. We have states already taking advantage of the current situation by investing in Agriculture and other means of generating IGR. States like Kebbi, Kaduna and Lagos.. And if we are to be honest with ourselves, most South East states cannot survive without Federal allocation and nothing stops them from raising their current IGR's even within the existing system 1 Like |

IgboSubmarine: Are u blind or illiterate. I posted the non crude oil stats. Excluding crude oil cargo is boldly in title of pictures. Start being honest so God can start loving and blessing you. I know it hard because you have victim mindset but your wailer sentiment don't move me. Bring counter statistics or just admit your wrong. Onne is a functional port by Nigerian standards. 4 Likes |

Blue3k: You are still not getting the point 1) What type of non crude oil products are imported through that port. Is it only machinery or all types of goods After providing that information, then we shall go down to the main issue which is to get a video record of Onne seaport. Get my points since you have been shouting Onne seaport. |

deji17: So because my battery went flat therefore my system is a cheap one What kind of reasoning are you portraying I will ignore your post and focus more on that of Blue3k if you persist with this kind of thinking. I am here to point to a fact that no functional international seaport is present in the Old Eastern region and not to argue about battery. |

Blue3k let's make this thread more educational than confrontational in order to help you understand our annoyance with the Nigerian state So do the following 1) What type of non crude oil products are imported through that port. Is it only machinery or all types of goods 2) Get a video record of Onne seaport so that we can analyze it with that of Lagos seaports. |

IgboSubmarine: Are you a daft or something. What proof have you brought to prove your case. I brought evidence then all you do is shift goal post. You don't bother explaining why you can't use port. If you know definition of things your read it would entail everything. Lol I can see why God won't bless or love a hypocritical person like you. You complain to OP about not attacking argument now look at you. Don't bother calling reinforcements they can't save you from your nonsense. 4 Likes |

Is it only machinery or all types of goods 2) Get a video record of Onne seaport so that we can analyze it with that of Lagos seaports. Pazienza Maduawuchukwu are my questions unreasonable.? If no, pls help me to explain to blue3k in a language he can understand. I just need those two things done If yes, I will accept defeat. |

IgboSubmarine: Your questions are daft. Your showing your parents wasted money sending you to school asking that sort of asking. Again stop looking for reinforcements they're not going to invole themselves in your nonsense child. 1.) Is machinery liquid bulk? General cargo is what? Dry bulk is what? How exactly did an ignorant guy like you start an argument without know these definitions is funny. It's obviously all types of goods. 2.) I'm not giving you a video. If you have proof that disproves NPA stats bring it. You've offered nothing but wailing sentiments. 3.) Read the definitions offered by NPA so you won't ask me dumb questions. If you can't see this covers consumer goods, capital goods, raw materials and miscellaneous goods you're delusional. You should already know what allowed to come in and out. You claimed it's not functional after all. 3 Likes

IgboSubmarine: After providing datas to prove to you that Onne Port is being utilized, you are asking for proof in videos. After that, you will ask us to wax a record and sing about it to prove to you. These are pictures from the port at PH/Onne. Just like the International Airport in Enugu, there is nothing stopping Igbos from using it if they wanted to . The success of Lagos and the West is much more deeper than having just a seaport. That is why many industries are situated in SW. What many of you don't even know is that the port in Lagos is very small compared to what Nigeria actually needs, and less than half of foreign products in the country come through Lagos. Some come from Cotonou, Lome and Tema ports in Benin, Togo and Ghana, yet Lagos is not doing badly. Use PH/Onne port Ndigbo. It is working and functioning just fine. 4 Likes 1 Share

pazienza:I prefer when people are not delusional. 1. I 've been played at Onitsha, sold substandard products to me. Boys just arrange and obtain from you. These are Igbo on Igbo crime. Later called the guy on phone and let him know I know what he did. How do you define greed? Our people, will resort to anything to make money and live fake life - drugs, fake stuff. They do all manner of things. See what happened at Ozubulu recently? 2. I'm from Imo, in fact we live close to these Oguta /Egbema people. They are full Igbos but want to join their brothers in Rivers. In fact, they are now saying they are not completely Igbo. It's called oil curse. They are my neighbors and friends. In fact my trusted and loyal worker is from Egbema. We speak Igbo together but refers us as Igbos. What do you think of that? While Yorubas in Kwara and Kofi wants to rejoin their kins, ours in Delta, Rivers, Edo(Igbanke) are dissociating themselves. Biafra cannot work now. It may work later. We do not have love. Just like when I warned ppl about mmm. Biafra is a mirage, at least for now 2 Likes |

mesoprogress: I hate stupid people. I had been played by a Yoruba man in Ondo before, I worked for him, and he refused to pay me, not just only me, but the other workers who worked for him, they were Yorubas as well, meanwhile this man was busy spending our money on frivolities and his personal pleasures. Have you heard about Oyeanusi, Dammy crane? That's what I'm talking about. They do all manner of things to make money. A suspected drug baron is their political leader for crying out loud. Have you ever heard them come online to cry about that? No! Because wisdom demands so. Ikpo akwa gi nkilika, agbatobi enwele ya mee rag. Stop being stupid, it doesn't look good on you. The word "wayo" is not an Igbo word. 2. You can be from the moon if you like, no one cares. I have friends from Oguta, Izombe and Awa in Oguta LGA of imo, I have been to Izombe before, they don't deny their Igbo identity. I am a member of Ohaji/Egbema facebook page and I do read proceedings there, they are Proud Igbo people. Only you know the trash you are talking about. Yorubas in Kwara are not really interested in joining those in SW, the likes of Saraki are claiming Fulani descent. They are denying Yorubas as well. Nigeria never worked in the past, it cost us 3million souls and continue to cost us more, it is not currently working , and it won't work in the future. Igbos don't love themselves you say, yet Nigerians accuse Igbos of tribalism, of loving ourselves only. Okonjo was accused of running an Igbo agenda, Rose Uzoma was sacked for allegedly filling her ministry with Igbos, Stella was accused of doing the same in Aviation industry, Ihejirika was accused of promoting too many Igbos in the army. So much for a group of people that hate themselves. It's only amongst the Igbo that once one person is allowed to settle in a place, he would go home and bring more of his people to exploit the opportunities in his new found environment. He would go to village and take up a boy from poor background and make a rich man out of him in few years time. Today, Nigerian government is budgeting billions for NE reconstruction, how much was budgeted for SE reconstruction after the war? Was it not through various town union development programs that we all rebuilt our war torn towns through communal donations and contributions without external help? How did we build Owerri airport? Was it not by communal efforts? One minute, Igbos are accused of hating themselves, the next they are accused of loving only themselves and hating others, morons can't make up their minds, and it's even more annoying when an Igbo with brain but that have refused to use them is repeating same Igbophobic platitudes. Nigeria is a failed colonial entity, for now and for the future. It's never going to work. The earlier you get this into your thick skull, the better for you. 6 Likes 1 Share |

pazienza: Thanks bro, I don't get upset when outside ndi ilo na ndi uta screech their usual nonsense. I just consider it human nature. However, what really gets my goat is when clowns of very doubtful parentage claiming Igbo, hide behind that cover to cast aspersions on their supposed ethnic group. If an imbec1le is greedy, it shouldn't generalize by blaming his personal curse on an entire ethnic group that has nothing to do with his personal predicament. 2 Likes |

Curlieweed: Over the years, I had noticed that there is a correlation between self hate and anti Biafran stand by few Biafra hating Igbos. Most Biafra hating Igbo commoners have any one of these traits. 1. They suffer from inferiority complex, and self hate, secondary to unhealthy assimilation of Igbophobic propaganda from Yorubas. Most of them believe that Ndiigbo are the most vile ethnic group on earth, who hate themselves, yet are Tribalistic to others ( don't ask me how one can be Tribalistic and still hate ones group members). 2. They believe in the inferiority of Igbo ethnic group to Yoruba ethnic group . They worship Yorubas, see only the good things in them, without seeing the bad ones, while they are quick to pick out the bad things about Igbos. Once you see an anti Biafran Igbo man or woman , he/she must exbhit atleast, one of the above properties 4 Likes |

Lol I'm just laughing about fact he doesn't know anything about topic he's arguing about. He thought Pazienza Maduawuchukwu can save him. Neither even dared to jump in this slaughter. Re: FYI: Do You Know That States Gets 100% Of Personal Tax & 85% Of VAT? by Maduawuchukwu(m): 2:36pm On Aug 09, 2017 |
Blue3k: The fact that the south-south seaports are not as ideal as those in Lagos is not in doubt. What we are not certain about is why. Shippers have given different ranging from I being an inland port which makes it costlier, causes damage to ships etc. For you to say that there is no problem with the Port and that people are not just using it is dishonest. The port-harcourt ports ports used for crude oil dealings mainly whether machinery or whatever. Those who deal in this oil use it because of proximity; there is no other way, and because they are very buoyant and can bare the extra cost without feeling anything. Dangote who also uses Calabar port is an extremely wealthy man who can afford these logistical costs and whichever secrets he uses. The main issue here is why will most people who have the Eastern Coast as the destination of their products use the Lagos ports? Saying that there is reason for it is like saying that there is no reason why people now use Benin Republic seaport nowadays for Nigerian bound goods. |

Stop crying in terms of non oil tonnage Onne port is higher than so called functional ports. Nobody makes you ship through Lagos. Is this the best you can do pathetic. Cite the rule or atop wailing.
