plz mamas in Benin city ,wia I can get a good pediatrician apart from Stella obasanjo hospital n ubth.as for st philomena I heard dey ain't good as before.
my son has big red rashes on his stomach.as d old ones r going leaving behind black spot new rashes kips coming up n d rashes are just concentrated on his stomach.
I hv given him augmentin antibiotic n refucil BT no positive result.

congrats mama. if the baby is doing well, and ur milk is flowing well, thats all she needs for now. no drugs or supplements. but if u have any issues, pls contact ur peadiatrician; otherwise, leave my son wife alone

Hmmm, so they usually say but I doubt its necessary as breast milk alone is enough if u are feeding well, anyway I was compelled by older ones around me to get the following which I did-
Gripe water for colic which I doubt it works, I only used for 3days and stopped
vitamin c(i actually used this for cold when I observed it)
tuclox (they said for the first seven days to wash dirt away as its antibiotics)I didn't use it anyway , panda (which I used after he was circumcised to reduce pain)
Then there is a particular multivitamin maybe abidek or so, didnt buy that anyway.

Note that I wasnt told at d hospital to buy them o, only elder mums around me kept repeating over and over to get them which I just did to feed their eyes but I actually know people that said they used them religiously for their LOs

Abidec is multivitamin it also help ur baby to eat very well will advice u don't give little one everyday, then vitamin C

Drugs keh?! Who told you that? Shebi ye baby was delivered with no issue? Why the need for drugs? Pls mama dont give yr baby any drug o. Whateva nutrients/vitamins your baby needs,she will get it from the breastmilk. In otherwords,you must eat healthyly and wisely.

5 months. He'll be 6 next week Wednesday. He eats pap, rice cereal, apple puree, carrot puree. Plus our regular Formula and breastmilk. I plan to puree titus and potato/plantain since enque has refused to make and package for sale

How old is she now? Is she sitting well with minimal support?

Congrats mama, welcome to the best job in the world.
Your baby girl does not need drug or supplements if she is feeding very well.
You only need to take her for the immunizations listed on her vaccine card.
if your baby is sucking and pooing well, then all is well (as long is the poo is not green)

No need for drugs nau! You can buy paracetamol for babies that's only for the baby's immunisation days. Then if you choose to use multivitamin, you can buy Abidec or multivite(emzor) for babies.

I did milk only till 5 months. Your back up has to be formula till shes at least 4 months plus and sitting comfortably. Preferably 5 months
