So I finally watched the 'viral' video in which controversial OAP Toke makinwa said that she "personally" doesn't like Whatsapp calls and I found it hard to believe that the tons of hateful comments on social media was caused by that harmless statement. Throughout the video, she kept saying "me" and "personally" so obviously what she stated was her personal opinion which she is entitled to. You don't have to agree with her but bashing her is very wrong because she isn't forcing anybody to agree with her. We've heard girls say things like "I can't date a man without a car" or "I can't date an ugly man" etc but other girls date such men and are happy with them. I've heard many girls say that calling is more romantic than texting but personally I love texting and chatting , I don't like calling or receiving calls. It may sound weird to some people but it's my personal preference and no matter how hard I try, I just can't develop love for calling. The point I'm trying to convey is that everyone can't like the same thing, a person can breakup with their partner over issues which others consider to be minor such as not waking up early, snoring etc Something that constitutes a problem in one relationship may be considered normal in another relationship it all depends on personal preference. NEVER INSULT/ABUSE SOMEONE SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT LIKE WHAT YOU LIKE and vice versa. Thanks!

The topic has been trending on twitter since she made the statement, so I think Nigerians have made it an issue. And I'm on holiday, I have a lot of free time.
