Peter should stop complaining and sponsor them if e can

That is going too far.
Let him show us his TAX returns first.
He may have paid only N5,000 in six years like that popular blogger who has a N500 million mansion in Banana Island.
Bloody yeyebrity hypocrites.

I believe all these Nigerian celebrities should shut the fvck up.. They don't know a damn thing about the country they are in....

Look at Beyonce, Bill Gates, Warren Buffer and Rockefeller.. In fact look at Mark Zuckerberg a man who is worth more than 50bn and he promised to give half of his wealth during his lifetime....

Rockefeller the world richest man gave a lot to research and education... Look at Jackie Chan building school and giving thousands of people scholarships and also funding and participating in sports...

here we have Nigerian celebrities who only show off their wealth and make us feel poor.. Who show off their gold chains, cars and houses and still blame the government...

Psquare is worth more than $100m... which is over 30bn... and yet he still falls back to the government... Even in American celebrities and billionaires and entrerprenuers play a huge role in building the nation. With their charity organizations and giving...

And yet even this is what we have here in Nigeria...

Rich man is blaming government and even poor man is blaming government.. No one wants to give, unless it is for show
You are not serious at all. While people in govt will be dishing out wrong policies and stealling our money. Why can't buhari resign?

Celebrities in US saw the presence of government and enjoyed leverage of same at one point of their life or the other. It is opposite here.

It's high time Nigerians accept the the leadership of General Buhari has failed and is now irredeemable ..This is the point where every person that means well for our battered and worn out nation should do the needful and press for the immediate resignation of General Muhammadu Buhari because his continous absence has indeed created a dangerous vacuum in the order of leadership in Nigeria today despite his so called transmission of power to Osinbanjo ..Buhari is now a deadweight liability that must be discarded now before it's too late ..God help and bless Nigeria Post Buhari

As in the veggy is wasting away our funds on medical trip yet we don't enough money to finance ordinary gymnastics team. Even if it was 20million Naira they need. They may not win medals but they have every right to participate and represent our beloved country. We need to encourage and diversify our sports especially a budding gym team, yet the presidency cannot give that a priority but they can fly back and forth the uk like they going from Oshodi to Obalende.

That so called Minister of Sport turned cultist should be fired.

They are using it all to treat Mr President! What happened to Buhari has never happened to any president in the history of man.

This government is the worst government produced ever. I don't mean sound like I support corruption but GEJ's government would have still given this team a listening ear even if they decide to steal from it but that team will get something.

This government just recovered several billions of Naira, the ones we can see from abandoned bureau de change, exquisite flats in Ikoyi, graveyards and private residences but where is all that money going to that they can't finance a young team and a growing sport in the country. Even if it just visa and the use the presidential jet, and I mean the least used, Atleast the president has over 4, to fly the team to show support despite harsh economic realities. That's to say in the absence of funds....

Nigerians especially us the enlightened ones, pls arise and stand against this government and its wickness. This is the height of it, where we don't have funds and the little we have is used to take care of one man who even doesn't give a Bleep about the country, not even to utter a word to his fellow Nigerians! But is quick to speak to the rest of the world.

Those that doesn't know maybe more than us that know but us that know are not few! When we stand, those that doesn't will not but stand us that know that this country needs to taken back from this bunch of miscreants we call leaders. Pls if you truly love this country called Nigeria

Look, truth be told, people give in this country and am sure that by now someone will rise to the occasion. We are givers in this country, from health to sports. Was it not one person that sponsored the super eagles recently before cultist turned minister was able to come up with something just recently, the policeman that was killed in that viral video of a bank heist and the list is endless. Even Buhari claim to have gotten to power based on the support of Nigerians solidarity support through funds even though we know there is more to it? So what are we talking about?

Before Nigerian can know the ish, is it not the responsibility of the government to cater for such thing or they want to claim such provisions are not in the budget? This government is incompetent and irresponsible but I believe someone will turn up to prove you wrong.

We are kind people despite our government inefficiency but what is wrong is wrong. If government don't have the funds, they can approach the private sector on behalf the team through deals and endorsements but not abandon them that they had to come home. It's just south Africa o not trip to Canada o

Thank you. This is PURE TRUTH you just stated. There exist some who would not agree with it that the government of Buhari is failing Nigerians and Nigeria.

Those who say all is well that Pre. Buhari can be on medical leave for 3 months, and it doesn't affect governance in Nigeria should answer this question: would you as the CEO of your company allow Buhari your employee to be so absent from work, creating a vacuum and yet your company continues to pay ALL salary and allowances to him?
Buhari is an employee of the Nigerian State, and the citizens are the employer.

The US government channel millions of dollars to their gymnastics team every year and takes care of every gymnast selected by the national committee. The problem is Psquare will donate $1m to the team or some other sector and the money will be embezzled. If the problem was lack of funds, you can blame Psquare but the problem is still corruption. So even if Psquare donates their entire fortune, it won't change anything.

Buhari was a 'monumental failure
Buhari-led government was the most corrupt in the history of Nigeria and the most nepotistic that has ever been since independence.it would be a shame for Buhari to run for second term when he has not offered solution to the myriads of problems facing the country. Buhari would be abandoned by the people in 2019.I may ask Zombies and their west paid slaves what are Buhari’s developmental strides as Nigerian Head of State? And during his second stint as Nigeria civilian president Their answer is as good as mine, NONE for his whole time in office. Buhari and his ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had failed Nigerians and should be booted out without delay.things had gone from bad to worse under the current government led by Buhari. If PDP was incompetent, APC is even worse. In the case of PDP government,it was just incompetence and you can negotiate with incompetents.”
But in the case of the APC, it is fascism and you know that you have no stand with a fascist who clear the obstacle by enemies. This is what we are experiencing now. We have replaced incompetence with fascism,” I pity Yellowbar Muslims . Ndi Ala

Most countries their government make money from sports; private sponsorship makes sports grow.
Let the government stop sponsorship of sports and let it grow.
In Europe, all the teams that we watch are individual owned and govt collects taxes from them.
As for Naija celebs, they should go and look at their mates abroad how they champion various causes: Di'caprio: climate change, Jolie: children welfare and the likes. They sit with President of their country to discuss policies; all they know here is to buy bling and shout.
Linda ikeji is having girls program

To be candid that's exactly what I've been wishing for. Nigeria's problem are those who are the helm of affairs looting & relooting crippling the country...if only what Ghana observed at a particular period of their rule (where they wiped out top corrupt rulers) can happen in Nigeria every1 would be smiling but alas its just wishful thinking.
But I know for sure military takeover is inevitable with the continuous unrest at the moment.
