So far molfix has been great for her....

I was about vouching for molfix because I have had little or no issue with it ( we've been using it 4 3months+ now) not until some massive rashes just appear on my dd's bum yesterday...I couldn't wear her diaper thru out the day until this night....Thanks

You can try MaryAde Specialist hospital at ilaje b/stop, you can book for a day that you will come and collect it for lo but i think while booking you have to make the payment or so. I got it there 2yrs ago for my son

Car seat is very important.
Get the convertible,that way you can use it for longer.
Rides are better with songs, so get CDs or use your phone and sing along.
Or play..... ' I sight', it distracts the ones that can talk.

I tied my stomach from the second day of delivery and then I got a postpartum belt all these didn't help. My belly was still big. But with time I took my mind off it and now everyone keeps hailing me that my flat belly is back

If you can't wait it out, then cut down on your intake of carbs and exercise

'evening great mamas, Hp our adorables are doing fine. Pls I need ur help o, especially mamas that are using n have experience with car seats. I'm about to get a used one but I dnt know jack abt car seats whether new or old; so what am I supposed to look out for? We'll be using it frm newborn so which type is advisable; infant or convertible how do I distinguish both? Do I need to get a base separately if the car seat doesn't have one? (I no sabi d car seat base sef o but came about it online ) or all car seats can be used safely without a base? Is a used car seat even advisable at all? Pls mamas, help with all the info I might need to keep LO safe in the car o cos that's d only reason i'm squeezing it in our tight budget. My toddler wl be starting school nxt month n LO wl always ride with us to n fro when s/he arrives very soon inshaAllaah.
PS: i'm a learner in driving too so what extra precautions I might need to take with the kids in the car? Pls help with all d advice n suggestions u've got mamas, no waka pass o IT'S URGENT as i'm going to inspect some tomorrow morning n hopefully bring one home.

I can only share my opinion/experience on car seats based on the ones I have used so far. I have used two so far - the first was used from birth till 12 months and the second from 12 months till date. None of them required a car seat base.

My understanding is that the rear facing car seat is best for babies for at least their first year. The one I got for my son came as part of a buggy set of 3. I could easily fit it as a buggy to push around.

I will suggest you go for a reputable brand and you can read user reviews on different car seats on websites like Amazon before you buy it. This is what I always do before buying a product.

For toddler car seat, attached is the picture and link I'm currently using for my son. It is the "isofix" type so check if your car supports it. The reasons why I went for this particular car seat is that I can use it till my child is 36kg (10 - 12 years old), it has a recline function so child can sleep comfortably, many safety features, retractable outlet for food/bottle and the cloth is removable/washable.

My recommendations:
1. Read reviews before buying any car seat.
2. Cheap isn't always the best. Invest in a car seat that comes with adequate safety features and one that is durable.
3. Fit the car seat in your car before paying to make sure it's compatible with your car. Some car seats only support ISOFIX compatible cars. Some car seats work well with either ISOFIX fitted cars or the three point seat belt
4. Car seats can sometimes be a pain to adjust/fix. So be prepared.

Some mamas on the thread have been complaining of fake molfix for a while
I buy from a distributor....so far have been saved...apart from gifts of other products, we have used molfix for about 9 months......
Anyways u can look for any other product that will work for u
Its not like molfix will pay me for marketing jor......

Convertibles are usually bigger and it's written on it
Please if you can squeeze don't buy fairly used, car seat is a safety device so it's not something you should take chances with. If you're buying convertible make sure the one you buy can be used for small infants (they usually have an insert that can be removed when the child is bigger they are also usually rear facing first then can be turned forward after baby becomes bigger). As for base it isn't purchased separately. The ones that have Base usually come with it. Does this cover your questions?

Mornin mamas ...please has anyone experienced this before....Thursday night my baby had temperature(very hot) all through d night but slept well,in d mornin d temp disappeared tho she was cranky n clingy all day but she was okay thru out d day until past 1 am last night d temperature was back n up till now she is still hot. ..I'm at my aunts so no thermometer to check d temperature....my aunt is saying it's teething (her 2nd tooth is coming out,although d 1st came out with no drama) dat it will stop but me I'm worried n wld like to take her to d hospital..

Please any suggestion on what to do if any1 has experienced such with teething cos me I have stopped believing all dis grandma's belief abt teething. Being using paracetamol tho but just pitying d poor gurl

Thermometer was among my hospital list and they sang it in our ears to have it at home. You can't know the accurate temp by touching, She may still be running temp or may not. Buy the thermometer (bought mine for 400 last year), check her temperature again in the afternoon and compare it with night own(if is above 37 please see her paed).
Please continue administering the para every 4-6hrs and don't over dress her.

There's this old wives tale that running temperature at night is malaria

Please, take to the hospital for medical check up. At least, you will have rest of mind when u know what the problem is, solution will be the next thing. It is well with her ma.

I bought from Olatebony but it didn't work for me.
Other mama's said it worked sha but not for me
