The trio of presidential aspirants under peoples democratic party (PDP) have began lobbying and campaigning for their ambitions of occupying the number one seat in the country at the ongoing PDP non-elective convention in Abuja.

The two currently serving governors, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe state and Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state whose tenures will elapse in 2019, and Immediate governor of Jigawa state Dr. Sule Lamido were pictured in the midst of their supporters rocking customized T-shirts and Babbar-riga with their names and photos printed on, and campaign posters of various shapes and sizes.

The PDP, after its sack from Aso villa and unprecedented heavy defeat at the 2015 polls by the APC, have lost focus on its bearing till the recent court ruling that ousted its embattled former chairman Ali Modu Sheriff.

The success of the recent convention signalled a new dawn for the PDP, the new leadership, unity of purpose & learning from past mistakes has put the party in a new path to reclaim lost glory.

PDP can only make a sratement come 2019 only if they learn from past mistakes and it is very necessary that they appologize to nigerians. Sadly, they havent and they appear too proud to own up to thier many infractions against nigeria let alone apologizing..
They are just not ready to be back even though APC is failing.

PDP should learn to play Strategic Politics.
Lure Kwankwanso then put Godswill as his running mate..
And you sweep most of the North, the whole South South, most of the East, and then salvage the west.

But if Osibanjo should run and then take up El-Rufai, he will hv the North(If PMB goes with him) and west, but the South and East will vote as d did in 2015.
But if Osibanjo picks up Donald Duke, or Ameachi, he will sweep the South.. The east will be hostile.,, but the north will frown.

Atiku is a wild card in the shake-up of things, he has invested alot, but we can only test his investment in 2019...
Fayose can only have votes in the East, he is of no political relevance in the west... You cant attack Tinubu(the Western Kingmaker, and attack Obasanjo(the Nigerian political Godfather) and hope to run for a National position.

It is 16 years of PDP, but no Igbo has been fielded for neither president not VPresidential candidate.


Igbo is the largest or second largest ethnic group in Nigeria.

What's wrong with Nigeria for the Igbo?

Whither the federal character principles? Quota system only?

The fact that Fayose think himself worthy of a Presidential candidate is quite disheartening. Oh, he thinks those his camera antics of cutting ponmo and playing ludo with truck drivers will get him our votes?

If Fayose is the best PDP can come up with, they had better stay off the 2019 election cos they'd be massively floored.

Comparing PDP and APC managerial skill,leadership style, competence. 98% goes to PDP and APC can take the remaining 2%,am gonna spit on d ground.

I pity the so called party supporters they are used and dump afterwards.

1.come to think of it can Fayose cajole the whole regions
with his stomach infrastructure and I want to see the Messiah he thought he is,and can he witnessed the insults from a younger politicians if he ever dreamed been a president.

2.Sule Lamido that is facing some kind of investigation is also running for president,good one but let's watch as things unfold.

3.Dakwanbo or what do you called yourself what do you take the position of a president for? what measures and experience have you got to even govern your state.
I will advise my fellow learned voters to be wary of unrealistic promises non I mean no one among them will remember all sorts of trash they said during the campaign when they eventually won the president even in their dream life....

I stand with a new bread of a young Nigerian to lead the this country to a greater heights for the coming generation.
