Trump is NOT right. NK has rights to nuclear weapons. Trump has pooh pooled Global action on the environment and trade. North Korea also has the right to follow it's sovereignty derived rights to do anything to defend itself.
If you want to abolish nuclear weapons world wide , bring it to the table and mankind will discuss it. However you don't posture and strut like some superman ordering a sovereign country not to develop its own deterrent.
North Korea has WON this one already and China has sent some dangerous messages to the world on this.

I don't support proliferation but this buffoon in the White house should get serious about the deeper aspects of his job instead of showing off and boasting without substance

Military option is not the way to go at this point in time. The outcome may be far more messier than some of you are thinking. Diplomacy and economic sanctions are the only viable option and maybe, the world just have to accept NK has a nuclear power. If America, Russia etc can have nuclear power, I don't see why NK should not have if they will be responsible with it. The western world alone should not enjoy the monopoly of terror. Let's see some real balance of WMD across the world.

It's no longer surprising the way they react when confronted with the truth. Let's not pretend to think that liberals don't love the tough talks/words involved in conflict, esp. when it comes to daring or warning the enemy of retaliatory actions. The thing is that they just don't love it when it's coming from Trump - because they hate him in the first place, from day one. That being said, when NK does threatening actions the left are silent, but as soon as President Trump reacts sternly, regardless of the choice of words used, They freak out. Do you know that the likes of Bill Clinton and Obama also issued stern warnings/threat to the same NK in the past and no one in the media or even liberals themselves freaked out? Liberal hypocrisy is certainly out of bounds. Bottom line is, President Trump should ignore these detractors and cowardly fools. NK needs to be communicated with the language that they can understand, and Trump is doing just that.
