Arab slave trade was by far worse than the American slave trade.

Ever wonder why there are no descendants of slaves in the middle east?

Op, there are some black slave descendants in the Middle East.

I know that some ppl in the Horn of Africa had corporated together with Arab merchants in selling slaves to the Middle East. Slaves were classified into 2 as Black slaves and Red slaves in that region back then. The Black slaves were the Nilotics, Omotics and Bantus, while the Red slaves were the so called Habesha Ethiopians/Eritreans, Oromos, Somalians and other Cushites.

Slaverly existed everywhere in the world throughout history and it was horrible, so I don't see that much difference in horribleness of Arab slave trade and America slave trade.

The Arabs did the same thing Europeans did. But, we don't talk about it because we have adopted their religions

There was a difference. Arabs didn't hesitate to kill slaves. And Arabs had their slaves walk across north Africa. A long and deadly walk

Its part of the reason why Arabs have a deep disdain for Africans.

I watched an aljazeera documentary on slaves in Yemen. The Richest families have African slaves. There was a man who was dividing his estate amongst his sons. He included the slaves as property. Those who did not get land get sleeves. They seem to have survived due to breeding by their master. They were not allowed to marry hut he occasionally went to get another male slave from another estate to make him reproduce with his female slave.

Slavery in Yemen

Slavery is illegal throughout the world, banned by international convention and treaty. But there is at least one country where it is alleged still to exist: Yemen.

In June 2010, a local Yemeni newspaper, Al-Masdar, reported that slavery not only existed but was growing in Yemen. It published the story of 500 alleged slaves in the country.

The government dismissed the Al-Masdar reports and insisted they were entirely unfounded.

But when a Yemeni judge approved the transfer of a slave from one owner to another, it triggered a campaign by a local journalist, human rights activists, and the wider press.

With the help of these campaigners and using hidden cameras, the makers of this Al Jazeera film investigate political figures allegedly involved in modern slavery.

I always get angry when I see my fellow Africans or Nigerians fighting/killing over Abrahimic religion.

The elite also use it to win elections, that's why they are not bothered
