Get any small accounting firm to prepare audited financial statements for your company, shouldn't cost too much. Bear in mind that you cannot say you earn 200k per month then your company only has revenue of 100k or some ridiculous amount, be sure that you put in correct numbers.

I believe you should have your company registration documents.

Once you have your audited financial statements, look for someone who works with the tax authorities or pleas your case, tell them you need tax clearance for your company, they'll tell you how much to pay and thats that.

I dont know the type of company you run but I'm sure you must have at some point entered into contracts with customers/suppliers, that's that.

For advertising material; fliers, proposals, etc

Sure you must have a company prospectus or profile that details what tge companies does and tboae running it.

Lastly I want to believe tou belong to some association, submit your membership vertifocate.

Thanks alot...

I run a training center and we are registered with CAC. But I haven't done any major contract in the company's name only third party.

I will work with the information you provided. Thanks again

House, am back again. So am afraid of getting a negative assessment from VETASSES because my qualification is not relevant to my work experience. Can I apply as a Zoologist and indicate I do not want to claim points for work experience. Can that get me a positive assessment?
Oga Bellong and Co, help a distressed soul

To help urself from getting seriously burnt by vetassess just like me, I advice u have a phone consultation with their agent, that costs $220 for 30 minutes. If u nominate customer service manager as ur occupation irrespective of ur degree, as long as u have more than 3 years of experience u should be able to get a positive outcome for ur overall skills assessment.(This waiver is only restricted to some occupations tho)

Another thing u can do without consultation first is to nominate zoologist as ur occupation and do a full assessment even with ur banking experience, but u will eventually get a positive outcome for qualification ( comparable to AQF) but negative for ur employment then ur overall outcome will be negative. BUT that won't be d end, you will den proceed to get a POINT TESTS ADVICE from vetassess $380 to get an outcome letter for your degree alone. That will effect your 15 points and it will be taken into consideration by DIBP. I got to learn about this from vetassess on Friday, because we hv been in an ongoing battle for 8 good months

Please house, if a person's occupation can be sponsored on 489& 457, and the person already had positive assessment, which visa type of these two is much more advisable
Can one change from 489 to 457 even if one is waiting for grant in 489.

457 is employer sponsored visa. A company or organisation sponsors people.

489 is a pathway to permanent which is better than 457. So the person should be patient and wait for 489 invitation.

The person will require company sponsorship for 457. And with the new changes, it has become more difficult.

Best thing is to wait for 489 since it's a pathway to PR.

Hello Bankole1790,

If you assess with either ICAA or CPA attaching your school syllabus and ensuring that your job description is in sync with the required skill for Accountants, I believe you should be fine. Note as Bellong said, Accountants need a minimum of 75 points. So hit the ground running by visiting the websites of the assessing bodies.

Thanks bro...pls my major concern is if unad's BSC 4 year accounting degree will be assessed positively, otherwise if I will need ican ACA to be part of the plan, will I be able to claim 5 years work experience?

Thank you very much @toslad.I am scared because some people have said they got negative assessments with there Nigerian degrees not equivalent to an Australian degree.I just want to be sure if I submit these documents(school syllabus and work experience) I will get a positive assessment.

I think it's high time we let that lady know we are not comfortable with her actions, she needs to change. My up man sort of karamo her before she gave us the real cost.
So, let like 5 of us agree to call this mini witch/ cheat whose name begins with "R" and give her stern warnings. She should stop milking us, if she helps anyone of us and such a person want to breathe on her that's a different ball game.

can't say for sure, but I know that some assessing bodies example ACS sometimes access only your employment then refer you to vetassess to get your qualifications accessed so it really boils down to ur assessing body, in ur case it's tricky, if u can get 60 points without qualifications but a positive in employment then I suggest u call DIBP and ask if u r eligible, additionally not all assessing bodies give point tests advice separately . It would have been safer if ur assessing body can give u a PTA for employment alone to clean up the bad stain a negative assessment letter has on ur final application. In my case I have been told by vetassess to contact dibp and ask if I can get my 15 points through a PTA regardless of my overall negative assessment.

Mamajaz, please can we have Ikenna's contact details?

It will also be great if we all can have the real cost (in Nigeria not the one on Pearson's site) of PTE- A

Some of us were stuck with R because we thought there was no alternative.

Thanks for the response. So if i get an outcome letter for degree alone, so in my application... I will not claim point for employment experience?
Then another thing is....only Tasmania is sponsoring Customer Service manager on 190. The other state Adelaide is sponsoring on 489. Should i go with Adelaide's 489 considering that Adelaide has opporrunities or Tasmania 190 though the state has the highest unemployment rate in Australia

Hello guys, I need your advice . I am on the pathway to getting admission to run my masters in Australia on a second thought, i am thinking of applying for PR. I just got my IELTS result and it goes LWRS,8,7.5,7.5,7.5. Age 26, bachelors Mechanical engineering, work experience in a company is 3 years.
My challenges are;
1) I have been working with an electricity distribution company and my role has been more of managerial than technical.
2) I dont have pay slips or Tax clearance. I only receive salary alerts no document to that effect aside statement of my Account.
3) should I continue with the masters and start the PR over there in Australia.

Gurus in the house, your candid advise will be highly appreciated.
@bellong and other Gurus, Please give me your advice on this.

Was in your own shoes and I opted for Brisbane 489 as against Tasmania 190. I took uchenna2017 's advise.

You weigh your options sha.

As for me, I can't go from frying pan (Nigeria, where I dey manage something meaningful) to a state that has no guarantee, (Tasmania)

@bellong and other Gurus, Please give me your advice on this.

You can get positive assessment from EA by just using your SWEP, SIWES, final year project or even NYSC experience, if relevant, to write your CDR.

If you get a positive assessment, your point would be 55, so you would need to rewrite English test to be able to claim the maximum 20 points to give you 65.

With that, PR would come sooner or later.
