You place him on your shoulder after each feed? my sister that's why the throw up is regular. you don't burp a baby on your shoulder. My son usually throws up if he gets fussy during feeding and I place him on my shoulders. Now if I carry him on the shoulder and he belch, I will quickly carry him well else he will throw up.

For me,wat works 4 me is after feeding,i just lift him n sit him on my laps n bend him abit.!Den eida tap or rub his back!Sumtimes he does it on his own witout help 4rm me!I don't do d shoulder own cos I notice he throws up!

Not necessarily. Except it's a special size car it should fit without issues.

Please note  the  base is  NOT universal,  so  it is  per  brand  and  usually it will fit  a particular  car seat(s) of  a brand  so make sure you get  them  together. 

Does your  toddler  also have a  car seat? Ideally  both kids  will need  to  be  strapped in. 
For  this one  you may decide to  get   the  convertible type . You do not need  a  base  for  this  as  you do not need  to carry it up and  down.  So  this  one  you fix with the  car seat belt.

You can try MaryAde Specialist hospital at ilaje b/stop, you can book for a day that you will come and collect it for lo but i think while booking you have to make the payment or so. I got it there 2yrs ago for my son

I place him on my laps like he is sitting and then use my right hand to support his chest while the left hand I rob his back with it till he belch.

Ok am finally out of peeping mode
My dd is gonna be 3weeks tomorrow and yesterday all of a sudden she just keeps crying, will suck then sometimes hold the breast like she wants to reap it apart, my mother said its inu wo(Yoruba things) and all the while she's bn taking agbo for the inu wo no serious cry o, only for her to start yesterday and even today, she just slept since morning. Abeg sabi mammas elep me choke mouth. If I say anything now my mother will say otherwise, and the nxt thing is for her to start calling all her siblings to report me, that I dont want to learn becos am educated I want to turn things upside down blahblah and am really avoiding her wahala. Am I suppose to be worried, it's giving me headache

No I don't oh. Never have. Maybe some mamas do but me I think it would be harsh

I wish there was a way to link stuff so you can just pick a topic you want to read about. This topic has been thrashed before. Seems like colic symptoms which Yoruba people call inuwo. Doctors say there's no treatment and babies outgrow it from 3 months but Mumsi no go hear that one (believe me I went through it)
Only thing I want to say is don't give you LO agbo oh! Don't do it at all. Tell them to give you the agbo so she'll take it in breast milk, or ask for the one they use to massage the tummy. This is a better middle ground than telling your Mum no outright. Gripe water and Co also didn't work for me but some people swear by it so *shrug*

Feed her and burp her properly, it will run its course and hopefully stop soon

I hate it but they said its rich in iron and very good for baby from 6 months

Is inu wo, colic? That's how my DD had colic then and my MIL said it was staphylococcus and brought her colorful medicine(twas smelling garlic and ginger) that my SIL gave it to her children. I just handbagged my DD anywhere I go,she complained tire that too much education is disturbing me, that I'm not even a pharmacist. Thank God for hubby that warned her, if not my matter for don reach village. She's still my paddy even though she ignored me cos of that.

I tried colipan, didn't work for me(made her to pass gas), I laid her on her tummy, burping after feeding and waited it out.

how old is your baby? we were taught at the hosp. not to pour antiseptic into baby's water as it will be harsh on their skin plus bathing water sometimes enters baby's mouth during bathing

Okay thanks ma'am! My mommas taught me to use antiseptic. I wanted to stop using Savlon cos I thought it's harsh and sometimes water gets into baby's mouth. @akorkor, hunniesuzie, fyngal.
