The texture probably changed as a result of long storage or perhaps that's just how the fish' texture is.

This is not plastic fish. The fish might have stayed too long in the freezer. There is nothing like plastic fish. If you are sure take it back to the seller and the situation will addressed. UK is not Nigeria that will not trace the source of what comes into their market. Stop spreading nonsense.

I don't see anything plastic in this fish. Plus, this skinny-looking ice fish goes for far less than the £10 he claimed he paid for it, I normally pay only about £3 for a massive Catfish (frozen). This heavily accented 'fresh of the boat' Nigerian dude is deluded, he should go back to Nigeria to eat non-plastic fish. Nonsense.

A UK-based Nigerian man just released a video of the fish he bought from a supermarket in London, UK for £10.

He revealed that the fish was made from a styrofoam or a plastic polystyrene material soaked with fish oil to have the original fish smell.

He shared the video for people who have not observed this before now to take note, so that they will not keep on feeding on fake materials that can be harmful to health.

Nigerians are very u serious people. This is a major issue. plastics should not be consumed. the reason is because it cancerous. It greatly increases the chances of causing cancer to the consumer. It's shocking that instead of commenting on the issue, people are taking about nairabet and others are saying other dumb things. The police in UK is very alive to their responsibilities, it's shocking they allowed such rubbish get into those country in the first place.
