The Syrian issue is deeper than we know.
The Syrian military has become weak due to years of war that is almost a decade old now.

NK and Iran ve posed more threat to USA than Syria.
But the USA ve not attacked any of these countries because of their respective military might.
The USA only sanction countries it cannot attack or invade.
Bush invaded Iraq hiding under the lie that Saddam Hussein had chemical weapons even though Saddam denied that he didn't ve a single CW.
Yet that same Bush paid lips service over attacking NK notwithstanding the fact that NK accepted they ve NB.
Do the comparison in ur head and see why the USA will never attack a nuclear armed NK.

Moreover, the US assets in Guam is even under review for closure so attacking the place is a speed plan.

the plane was mistaken for a missile.
US government even compensated family of the victims.

However, these aren't the kind of attack I meant.
The attack we re talking about is one of a direct military engagement. Or lunching a missile attack on an Iranian military or government position.

only isreal contemplated an air strike on Iranian nuclear sites. But the USA strongly advised them not to, for whatever reason.
Even Obama recently admitted that his government resisted Saudi government's coercion/pressure to lunch air strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.
Sad as it is, the USA didn't do that only because it knows Iran can conveniently target all US bases in the middle east.
War against a strong military isn't as simple as u think.
Notwithstanding USA military might and years ofwar in Afghanistan, the Taliban still control territories in Afghanistan. Even trump recently said US isn't winning in Afghanistan.
