Pls, i need to know. Was an acknowledge slip sent to ur email after applying for the application? I only got a mail when i registered with them. Also, when i login my account, saw few of my data on display. Just needed to know if am to worry.

They don't send mail immediately after application so you have nothing to worry about. You are safe

See, well lifting is purely pressure controlled and mechanical. Electrical aint needed. U can google that to confirm.

That shud solve the arguments.

I tried to apply through various methods.

Not sure if any worked but I'll know if I was successful when others (hopefully me too) get an email and come back here to ask for past questions...because....they always ask for past questions cheesy

Electrical have nothing to do with oil inflow but when it comes to production monitoring, haba. Geophysical data analysis isn't possible without them na, electric gauges etc. In that case, even chemical engineers no follow. The industry is like a family, if you got skills and you are determined, you will be accepted. My internship boss was a chemical engineer but he is the superintendent of the drilling department.

I just had a convo with my friend in Port today and he told me he was at their office last week to submit his hardcopy CV but he was told right there that a test has been conducted last 2 weeks for those who are shortlisted, I guess its time to move on guys.
Better one ahead.
