Dogs are nocturnal. They sleep during the day and wake up to hunt at night

How old is it... What breed... What's it's daily routine like...what kind of sleeping space does it have access to... What's your environment like.... What activities is it into at night while not asleep....any meal or drink intake that's out of the ordinary. .. Does it get a daily walk of about 30...45 mins huh

So u want ur dog to be sleeping like human being ...they are canines for cryng out loud..
it's because we have domesticated them...but their hunting instinct is totally active ...they are naturally engineered to stay awake at night. Mine submits all his kills at my door step in the morning...giant or small rats,a couple of times snakes, monitor lizards and sometimes birds during the day...

I've always wondered how he kills birds though...never seen him made the kill..i only see dead bird on the floor when I come back
