Osinbajo Assigns Portfolios To New Ministers by emamos(op): 12:09pm On Aug 16, 2017

The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has assigned portfolios to the two ministers who were sworn in three weeks ago.

Stephen Ocheni and Suleiman Hassan were sworn in in May, several weeks after they were confirmed by the Senate, due to President Muhammadu Buhari’s absence.

‎Mr. Ocheni will fill the vacuum created by the death of James Ocholi who hailed from the same state, Kogi State. He is to resume as Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour and Productivity.

Suleiman Hassan who was appointed to fill the Gombe State slot will resume as Minister of State, Power, Works and Housing.

Mr. Osinbajo also swore in 15 permanent secretaries to fill the vacancies created in various government agencies.

Osinbanjo should try and reshuffle the cabinet, it's long overdue some of those ministers are just their as figurehead.

The cabal didnt want Osibanjo to assign portfolio to those ministers sworn in over three weeks ago. It had to take pdp to speak out on the incapacitation of osibanjo by the cabal, citing this as an example before they could permit him assign them with portfolio

Why can't they split the ministry into Power (stand-alone) and Work and Housing separate?

So if Deji Adeyanju and Fayose didnt criticize them about appointing portfolio they wouldnt have done so. APC is a sham, a shame and a disaster to this era..They dont know what to do except you tell them what to do.

AgP Osinbajo asiggns portfolios to the 2 ministers earlier sworn in. There are now 2 Ministers of State in Power, Works & Housing Ministry

Osinbajo is as dense as his boss. But for the public outcry in the last couple of days about the appointees, he wouldn't have done the needful.

I remember this was one of the main emphasis in Channels this morning when Maupe and her colleagues kept hammering this point against the Lagos APC spokesperson. Let someone not tell me it was a coincidence. Our Ag. President must have either slept off due to the office pressure or is simply 'incapacitated' by the fear of the cabals/Buhari's return.

This is why we said there's vacuum in government. Imagine if there was an active president, would these ministers have been idle for nearly three months.
