So called Lagos oil is off shore n actually belongs to the Niger Delta by proximity, making Lagos an oil producing state is part of the usual theft we know of in Nigeria.

Also ondo n Lagos can't mine n send 650k barrels of crude oil daily. Do the math well
Lagos badagry, offshore, close to Niger delta??
Geography fall on you grin

Remember Dangote building a refinery around Ibeju-lekki, so today i was able to catch a glimpse of some of the massive equipments being brought in for utilization.

Seeing the sluggish movement of the long trucks with the massive hold-up being caused, I happen to ask one of the guys in lemon vest you can see in the picture below, he said they have been on the road for the past 2 weeks all the way from Apapa seaport. I was like what! Check out...
So you where at Iberekodo yesterday??

Appreciate some of these Truckers. Imagine moving this equipment safely to where is going to, that's some skill.
only God knows what the drivers have sacrificed to stay on the road for 2 weeks like not seeing their family, their freedom, health, etc which means they're helping Dangote one way or the other because if they dont exist,he won't be able to drive it in by himself. yet some people with slave mentality would start saying he's doing them a favour by employing them
meanwhile this is favour for favour

If you knew it was a syndicated loan, you shouldn't have disgraced yourself by mentioning GTB.

I repeat, how much is your money in GTB? It's people like you that make the loudest noise when your account balance is like Nokia phone models.

You'll have 1,100 or 3,310 in your account and you're making noise. I'm sure your money in GTB is not even enough to buy bulb for their ATM machine.

...that could be a huge amount of money. Construction of refinery in Nigeria is not the problem but the maintenance.....that's the major challenge here.

Let's give peace a chance.

The SE is not a giant in commerce or anything, it's only a giant in Crime. We used to think so until statistics showed that you're parasites who contribute nothing to this country.

Yet South Easterners control almost all the small and medium scale businesses in Nigeria. What does that tell you Afonja
The SE controls nothing in this country. You're all loud-mouthed loafers who have been shut up by verifiable statistics showing that you're at the bottom of the food chain in this country.

How many Igbos are in the top 10 richest of any sector in Nigeria?

You are right, bro. But we all know that when this refinary starts running, it will not only create jobs but also have enormous impact on Forex. Have you ever considered what would have been our fate in terms of forex and employment if not for Dangote's investsment, especially in the cement industry? The economy would have been far worse than it is today.

We need more entrepreneurs like him notwithstanding their interests as long as they are symbiotic

If we had a functional rail system, it makes more sense to move such large equipment by rail, instead of causing unnecessary traffic hold up.
Also the road may not be designed to withstand such heavy duty equipment, in some months time we would start seeing craters in various part of the road... tax payers money that would be used to fix it... Ideally Dangote should be fined heavily for moving such extreme heavy equipment on publicly funded roads.

This is why our refinaries are not working some one wants to determine the price of fuel like cement now. The same issue is what we have in the power sector Diesel dealers dont want us to have light.

Kudos to the man that keeps investing in this country.
The country made him what he is today. It's only natural that he gives back. It's only those without conscience that will pack all their investments abroad, after making it here.
